The portion size was great but the salad itself lacked freshness especially the tofu which tasted like it was past use date & the tofu texture was terrible feeling like tough cardboard & way too rubbery. The salad dressing was very unpleasant & very bland but the taste that was there was simply unpalatable ... this dressing seriously not nice at all. I have eaten at another suburb in-house at Fishbowl a few years ago & I absolutely loved all the meals I had at that store at that time but years later ordering home delivery here at this store I was expecting to get the same delightful meals & I was certainly disappointed by the lack of the salad all round. I'm trying to blame my disappointment on myself by suggesting I shouldn't change the ingredients of the salad & simply buy as is (I mean not adding anything more as I did eg. added extra avocado cucumber etc etc) but that shouldn't be the case as I've always added more or less of what I prefer with no issues. So I'm sorry to say that I definitely had a bad tasting salad today & wished it wasn't the case. I will try one more time in the future because as mentioned I really loved these salads years ago. Hopefully the standards haven't dropped since that date with lower quality ingredients & hopefully Fishbowl can take this review as an opportunity to lift the quality back to when it first opened. However, this store makes it so well!! You can really taste the yoghurt in 84. Purple Rice Yoghurt / 紫米酸奶 and I love that the rice is also slightly sweet. Will 100% buy again"

"The Signature Curry Beef Brisket with Rice had a pungent smell, similar to "stinky tofu" (iykyk). Im not sure if this dish is supposed to smell this way? Instant loss of appetite. The take away container had 5 pieces of beef brisket sitting on top a mountain of rice. Really not worth $24. Wont be getting it again."

"Thai Break rarely disappoints. Tonight my Phad King came with bonus sliced chicken breast in addition to the prawns I'd ordered it with. So good, I'll order it like that in the future. This is a deceptively spicy dish despite being described as "mild", but not chilli spicy. Ginger spicy. Very satisfying. If you like ginger, give it a go! And the larb? Well, unlike the different Thai place I tried earlier this week, it tastes like larb: it has hot, and salty, and sour, and a touch of sweet, as larb should. What would make it better: including some cucumber slices to eat the larb off of. :-) Rice a generous portion for $4."

"The Larb Gai was quite nice, with a good balance of flavour and good quality chicken. There was fresh chili rather than toasted dried chili in it, and it wasn't served with sliced fresh cucumber as I've seen it done before. The Pad Khing was very gingery-y, and the rice servings were generous."
