The lemon cake is bland and the lemon flavor of the very disappointing buttercream tasted more of lemon extract that zingy, real lemon flavor. And that decadent, buttery flavor of a good quality buttercream? Nope. With the absolute overall disappointment of the lemon cupcake I decided just to try a little smidge of the frosting of the other three cupcakes. Chocolate, cookies & cream and Hot fudge sundae.
