"This was my first time trying this taco shop, and I ordered the 3 rolled taco combo along with 1 hard shell shredded beef taco so I could sample a few things. The 3 rolled taco combo plate was good overall. The rice was soft, fluffy, and flavorful, and the beans were solid as well. The rolled tacos themselves tasted very fresh— you could tell the tortillas seemed homemade and that everything was prepared today. It definitely felt more like an authentic Mexican experience rather than your typical taco shop around the corner, which I really appreciated. That said, it wasn’t my favorite rolled taco experience. When I think of rolled tacos, I picture a fried taco fully covered in guac and a classic three-blend Mexican cheese, sometimes with lettuce and tomato. These were topped with cotija instead, so you don’t get that melty cheese flavor, which was what felt missing for me. The guac was only smeared on half of the tacos, so the flavor wasn’t consistent throughout. Overall, it tasted like a “healthier” version of rolled tacos— which could actually be a plus if that’s what you’re looking for. The salsas (avocado salsa and salsa verde) were good, though they tasted very similar to me— one was just slightly creamier. They leaned a little heavy on lime for my preference, and I would’ve liked a bit more heat. I did love that you can add as many salsas as you want to your order free of charge. That’s a great touch, and I wish more taco shops offered that option. As for the hard shell shredded beef taco, it was also very fresh and well made, but again leaned more “healthy” than traditional. It had just a light sprinkle of cotija on top of pickled onions and no classic shredded cheese, which wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I wouldn’t rate this place poorly because the food was clearly fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. I was just expecting a more traditional, cheese forward taco shop experience. If they offered a standard shredded cheese option in addition to cotija, I think it would really elevate these dishes for people looking for that classic flavor profile. I would still consider coming back, especially knowing how fresh everything tasted."

"My husband and I wanted to try this place for an at home lunch date so we ordered the 32. CHICKEN PHO for myself, the pho 31. Pho Combo for my husband and the Chili Oil Wonton to share. "The items ordered were both good. In term of the amounts of meat, I prefer the 5. Grilled Pork Rolls over the 4. Spring Rolls with shrimp. I liked that the pork rolls had a lot of pork. It had a sweet taste to it. The shrimp rolls had about 2 or three pieces of shrimp but, in my opinion had more lettuce than shrimprolls noodles. Both of these come with a peanut sauce on the side which was good bbut I prefer a spicy sauce instead. They did provide me with some garlic chili sauce but if you want more, I would recommend asking for some or writing in the notes requesting some. Each order is two large rolls cut in half and everything tasted fresh to me. I would definitely order from this place again. Overall, the food was fresh, it had a good portion of food, and was also packaged very nicely. I want to order again so I can try the rest of their food."
