The one single tea took over 1/2 hour to compete AFTER the driver arrived there. The driver was very apologetic and informed me that the staff at Toppings were "standing around talking a lot"! When we finally received the delivery my daughter said the tea did not taste right and it was extremely bitter. She had to throw it out. Her dinner was also cold at this point. She has ordered this exact same tea several times from this same place and enjoyed it. I was upset about it (the tea Cost $9.97 with fees, tip, etc.) I called Toppings and told them how I felt about the whole experience, and that I was going to speak to their manager this week. After I hung up, I received a call back from them! The person asked if i just called and proceeded to tell me that they were very busy and they were all talking about an earlier power outage. The driver had already informed me that they did not appear to be busy but were standing around talking. The person who called also told me that the tea is supposed to taste like that, bitter. My daughter would not have ordered it if that was the way it was supposed to taste. Bottom line... horrible service... horrible product... and an invasive phone call. "I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the meal my guest and I were served during our recent visit to Nelly Latin Restaurant. We were two paying adults, yet the portions we received were shockingly small — more fitting for a toddler’s plate than a full meal. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was unacceptable. The chicken was overcooked and dry, while the pork chops were completely bland, lacking any seasoning or flavor. It honestly tasted like something that had been microwaved and tossed on a plate with no care or attention. We came in expecting a satisfying Latin meal and left feeling completely let down and still hungry. Given the prices, we expected quality and authenticity, but unfortunately, neither was delivered. This experience has left a very bad impression, and I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your food and service moving forward."
