"So disappointed :( White long grain rice instead of proper seasoned sushi rice? Salmon had very poor texture and did not taste fresh, reminded me of poke kits you get at the grocery store. Extremely stingy portion sizes, even the plain rice they are very light on. Only allowing one sauce/two toppings without upcharge is something I have definitely not seen at another poke place. Also a 2.40 upcharge for avocado and the amount they give you? Not to mention base price for a bowl being $19... as a poke LOVER I have regretted every time I've given this place a chance. Very sad this and Pinktail, which is the only place I have tried with worse poke, are our only joints in GR. Pricing is at the high end of the spectrum for every item meanwhile quality is at the low. If you're a real poke devotee it is honestly worth the drive to Kzoo right now unfortunately lol."

We dipped them in mayo for a Japanese fish and chips. The restaurant is clean and modern inside. "Ginza has the most melt-in-your-mouth raw fish sushi I've ever had in GR, and they're priced fairly comparably to other GR sushi places that aren't always as fresh or "melt in the mouth." I've eaten from Ginza twice now (once in person, once via door dash), and both times I was blown away by how fresh and tasty the fish was! If you've ever had rubbery, chewy, or stringy sashimi/sushi, you might think you don't like sushi. Or if you've had sushi that was a little rubbery, stringy, or chewy, and still liked it...then you're going to be thrown for a loop by how good Ginza sushi is. Plus, all the veggies in their sushi rolls taste incredibly fresh and perfectly ripe. You're not going to get slightly grey, over-ripe and mushy avocado from them, nor will you get under-ripe, crunchy avocado from them. I've have never had better avocado on sushi, before, than at Ginza (both times!) Their cucumber is also at a new level of fresh, crisp, and tasty. Their sauces are great! They compliment without overpowering. So even though I had a very absent/aloof lunchtime server my first time eating there--to the point where I saw the bus boy more than my own server--the food was SO GOOD that I Door Dashed it a couple days later for my husband and I. I wouldn't eat in, again, just cause my server was quite bad, but the food speaks for itself, and I'd door dash it daily if I could afford it!"
