A taste of Melbourne is served at Bluestone Lane, a lovely neighborhood all-day cafe with locations across New York City and San Francisco. Coffee brewed the Aussie way means nitro and cold brewed, along with high-heat espresso and flat whites, of course. They dip into the health drink trend with matcha, beet, and golden lattes, and cold-pressed green juice. There’s also a large variety of coffee beans on the to-go menu. (Handy!) To eat, there are two kinds of avocado toast — allegedly invented in Australia. One is classic, with lemon juice and chili flakes; the other comes loaded up with feta, prosciutto, tomatoes, and herbs. Oatmeal, granola, and two kinds of salad (fruit and veg) round out the simple yet tasty breakfast-any-time menu.
