"The Butter Chicken is phenomenal!!! I got spicy and it's got a nice kick to it but still very flavorful. Theres a ton of chicken in it and it's not oily which is my biggest pet peeve with most places. Thank you so much will definitely be ordering here from now on! :)"

"Kadhi Pakora was really tasty, not too spicy-- a good alternative to malai kofta, but they could add more pakora! Came with rice as well."
"I've lived in Philadelphia for over 15 years and am finally done looking for my go-to for take out Indian. All the dishes we ordered were seasoned well and appropriately for the different types of vegetables and curries. Often, I find from other restaurants that all the dishes taste the same. At Taste of Punjab, the Palak Paneer, Dal Tadka, Bhindi Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala all had different complex flavor profiles and were devoured. Also, the Garlic Naan was fluffy and delicious. I will be ordering from here again and again. Tasted just like mama makes at home! You won't be disappointed!"

"Venn Pongal's quantity has been increased since my previous review. It is okay in quantity now for the price. The food is very good and overall a very good Indian restaurant in the city!"
"The Kothu Parotta and the Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious- they're always our go to orders when are at Amma's/get takeout from them . Flavorful and filling. The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

"Samosa is delicious, I like how the potatoes lose coherence in the mixture.

"Took amazing care of us and the food was absolutely wonderful. We got a wide variety of dishes so far and liked everything we ordered. My wife loved the chicken tikka masala, which is usually too spicy for her but their mild was just right. The lamb melted and barely needed chewing. Fantastic place with amazing Indian food. "
"I was a little hesitant ordering from a restaurant with no reviews, but boy did it pay off! The butter chicken, chicken saag, and veggie pakora were all packed with flavor and absolutely delightful. In fact, the pakora were so good I ended up eating all of them before I even unpacked the rest of my food. I'm so glad there's such a great Indian restaurant in the neighborhood and can't wait to try something new next time! "

"Not sure if this is my first public review but the Butter Chicken [NF, GF] ... absolutely phenomenal. Everything was so fresh, super mild spice. I thought the portion size was great, for myself at least (I am also pregnant lol) so take from that what you will. Took one bite from the Masala Dosa [DF, NF, GF, VEG, VG] and saving it for tomorrow. It was pretty big, also very fresh! Came with a separate container for sauce. " The portions are always GENEROUS no matter what size platter I get or how many times I order. I always get oxtails&jerk chicken. All the sides are delicious my favorite is greens I get xtra they got the BEST- Smokey savory flavor but just a little sweet at the end sooo goood!!! Rice is NEVER dry you don’t have to ask them to add the sauce or gravy on top they put it on top the rice. They are always quick I always get my order within 30+mins. Great quality and price you can’t beat this anymore! I will keep ordering from here "
"Good is usually really great but it was off today. Macaroni & Cheese noodles were overcooked and mushy. Sweet potatoes had a tart butter taste. The Ox Tail (Small) had more fat than meat. "Absolutely loved the Beef Bhuna Rasmalai Butter Naan everything hit the spot! and this coming from a desi food habitual critic. Cant believe the prices too, the naan was huge and properly weighty enough for one. Rasmalai is perfect and a steal at 4 bucks, you get 5 plus cheeses a whole meal by itself. Beef was absolutely delicious just like how I remember from back home absolutely devoured it. Something that needs improvement is packaging, a plastic bag is not proper. Loved the meal tho"

"Chicken Tikka Masala was VERY good. Came with rice which was also pretty good. However, the portion size was below average for the price and I believe this dish should have come with Garli Naan Blissc which shouldn't have to be purchased separately. For the price, I won't be returning. Nonetheless, the food was excellent."
"I ordered Barfi. and a completely different /wrong dessert came. There was a buy one get one free Garlic Naan Bliss, so I ordered this special, but only one naan was provided and it was burnt. The food was not consistent with what I ordered. The sauce on the Chicken Tikka Masala broke and was oily. I would not order again."

"This place has the best Egg Dum Biryani and the quantity does justice to the price. "
"Ordered a C5 Chicken Tikka Masla and Tandoori Rotti i. The chicken was delicious, but unfortunately, it was excessively oily, making the overall dish too greasy compared to other Indian restaurants. Additionally, the Tandoori Roti seemed to be made with more white flour than wheat flour, which I didn't enjoy, and it too was overly oily.
In another separate order, we tried the Navratan Korma, which was also excessively greasy. I wish they would use less oil in their cooking; I prioritize both taste and health when dining out. It's a good restaurant to eat in if you just care about the taste."

"Pav Bhaji was so delicious, tasty and fresh. Good portion size and would definitely order again."
"Firstly, I've never had someone serve 1 single piece of uttapam in an order.. (please try this in Bengaluru and you'll know!) .. please specify this in your menu description. Absolutely bland taste, sambar tasted stale. The only thing that helped was the tomato chutney which was worth dipping and having the uttapam. Please don't put stale products as a BOGO offer and ruin your reputation!"

"Biiiiig fan of the Palak Paneer, it's sweeter than other varieties I've had but I love it. Garlic Naan was very large and delicious and soft. "both the 44. Lamb or Goat Korma and the 67. Saag Paneer were super tasty, and the 87. Peshwari Naan was generously flavored and stuffed. I wish the portion sizes were bigger for the price, but that's probably the cost of survival in this economy"

"Veggie Samosa was amazing.. Cauliflower Manchurian was good, different from the Gobi Manchurian I'm used to, but still tasty. Rice was perfect!!
