"Great first time order! Might not buy the second time because the bread came out broke and burnt! But a great taste, packaging & loved the chutney!"
Thecha Vada Pav
Vegetarian. Thecha vada pav is a regional variation of vada pav, often found in the state of Maharashtra, India. The special element in this version is "Thecha," a spicy chutney or paste made primarily with green chilies, garlic, and peanuts. The thecha is known for its intense spiciness and robust flavor. In thecha vada pav, the traditional potato vada is accompanied by a generous spread of thecha inside the pav (bread roll). This adds a fiery kick to the snack, creating a delightful fusion of the flavorful vada and the spicy thecha. It's a popular choice for those who appreciate the bold and pungent taste of green chilies in their food.

Special Pav Bhaji
Vegetarian. Pav bhaji is a flavorful Indian dish that consists of a spiced and mashed vegetable curry (bhaji) made with a variety of vegetables like potatoes, peas, and capsicum. The vegetables are cooked and mashed, then seasoned with a blend of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and pav bhaji masala. This curry is served with soft and buttered bread rolls (pav). The pav is usually toasted with butter and accompanied by chopped onions and lemon wedges. It's a popular street food item in India known for its rich and spicy taste.
$11.99
Spicy Pav Bhaji
Spicy, vegetarian. A spicy pav bhaji refers to a variant of the classic dish where the vegetable curry (bhaji) is intentionally made spicier. This is achieved by adding a generous amount of red chili powder, green chilies, or other spicy ingredients during the cooking process. The goal is to create a pav bhaji with a fiery and bold flavor profile. It caters to individuals who enjoy a higher level of spiciness in their food, offering a delightful kick to the taste buds. The heat can be adjusted according to personal preferences, making it a customizable dish for spice enthusiasts.

Shezwan Vada Pav
Vegetarian. Schezwan vada pav is a spicy and flavorful variation of the traditional vada pav. In this version, the potato vada is often coated or mixed with schezwan sauce during the preparation process. Schezwan sauce is a spicy and tangy condiment originating from Chinese cuisine but has been widely adopted in Indian cooking. The schezwan-spiced vada is then placed inside a pav (bread roll), which is usually toasted with butter. This variant adds an extra kick of heat and a distinct schezwan flavor to the classic vada pav. It's a popular street food choice for those who enjoy the combination of spiciness and bold flavors in their snacks.

"This was so good! Personally, I don't usually have/try Indian cuisine because I'm sensitive to spice so I assumed it wasn't for me. But I was pleasantly surprised! The burnt garlic noodles were mild and extremely flavorful! The chicken meat in the noodle dish was also perfectly cooked, not dry at all with some crispy flavor. the butter chicken was one of the best sauces I've ever tried and it went very well with the rice. Also I mixed some of the sauce with the garlic noodles and it was like flavor explosion it was so good too! It's also wrapped in plastic so it doesn't spill out and stays extra hot. If I had one complaint, it would be that the chicken in the butter chicken was a little dry, but it was still enjoyable and the sauce compliemented it well. Honestly, the discount is what motivated me to step out of my comfort zone to give this place a try since this cuisine is a little outside my comfort zone, but I'm so glad I tried because now I know I can enjoy this food despite being spice sensitive! And it's so good + flavorful! I'm going to have a new craving and I'll be ordering from here again and again! Thank you so much!"

"the samosas are great though they melted through the Styrofoam so I had to break off the pieces that melted through since I'm not sure how safe that is. The chicken Tikka masala tasted more like butter chicken and lacked flavor and spice. I ordered spicy and I think they gave me mild.the garlic naan is good. I gave this Taste of India a shot since they had 30% off deal on door dash and it's not bad but I wouldn't pay full price. The portions are good. You get 3 large samosas in one order. "Ordered food for pick up. Everything was packed well and was ready in no time! Overall, the spice level is quite mild, which was good for me. Most Indian people would prefer more spicy. The masala wings were very tender but not crispy. For the malai kofta platter, the koftas were not real malai koftas, tasted more like made with aloo paratha or aloo bonda stuffing. The gravy for it was good though. Palak part of palak paneer was what I liked most, the paneer, however, was cold inside. Aloo gobhi had a home made taste but was too bland, even for me. "Tikka Malaga is among the best I've had in Austin"
"Ordered the biryani from Shallot and had a really pleasant experience. The rice was perfectly cooked and fragrant, and the flavors were subtle yet well-balanced. The meat was cooked nicely and blended well with the spices. Portion size was satisfying, and the dish felt comforting rather than overly heavy. Overall, a well-made biryani that shows care in preparation. Would definitely order again."
Chicken Tikka
A spectacular classic. Succulent, tandoor-roasted chicken tikka pieces simmered in a velvety, vibrant reduction of fire-roasted tomatoes, sweet shallots, and fresh ginger. Intensely infused with toasted fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) and a delicate blend of hand-ground spices, then finished with a rich swirl of cream. A beautiful balance of clay-oven smoke and silky richness.

Shallots Hasi Goat Biryani
Our crown-jewel preparation. Tender cubes of premium goat are marinated raw (hasi) in house-cultured yogurt, fresh mint, cilantro, and a pristine blend of secret spices. Every grain of rice absorbs the rich, natural juices of the meat. A masterpiece of aroma and tenderness.

"Excellent food. The tandoori chicken was so moist! Plus there was a lot of chicken on each piece. The naan was soft and the saffron sesame addition was delicate and delicious! "The Naan is massive bigger than a dinner plate! Order less than you think you need. Everything is so flavorful. One of the best Indian experiences I've had in Austin. "
"Okay Nasha is good. It's interesting, it's unique and it's def something we reorder. BUT. The portions arent great. I got like 4 little cubes of tofu with my Tikka and the enchiladas had very little sauce on them. My tikka costed me $20 to have no protein and that's disappointing. You can def get more bang for your buck and very good Indian food elsewhere. "
