"When my burrito arrived, I was kind of excited because it was really big and had a lot of weight to it But then I realized I was just ripped off and got a tortilla stuffed with a half cup of rice and baby steak bits throughout and even the flavour on the steak wasn't really good at all. In considering it was a burrito you could've at least grilled it shut. Was just a bland tasting mass of a lot of rice stuffed into a raw tortilla with some sparse baby size beef bites. Such a rip off for $18. And I die on the hill that Halifax has no good authentic Mexican restaurants. "Woowww I am so impressed!! The chicken was very tender and well marinated, and the portion was good - they didn't skimp like other places. Ingredients were very fresh, you can tell they take pride in the food. The masala was spicy and not too oily.
The samosa chat is where they really shined, the flavours are so fresh, tangy and layered. The smothered samosa was even still crispy when it arrived and the dahi and chutney on top was *chefs kiss*. Next time I will ask for the chana to be packed separate from the samosa.
Naan is big and the garlic nice and crispy. I feel like I got my moneys worth and wasn't left hungry.
