"This is the worst experience I have had from a restaurant. First the order came with my Prawn curry spilt all over the bag with the takeaway box not packaged properly. It had only 5 mini prawns in it although I paid extra for prawns. My roti was burnt with leftover black residue on it from god knows what! And the highlight of the show was my mango lassi coming in a takeaway container instead of a cup! What an absolute joke! It tasted nothing of mangos and just like sugar water! Absolute worst experience!! I had guests over and had to toss the whole thing away. "

Listen, those of us who order from DoorDash know that most restaurants miss the mark. But not these guys oh hell nah.
The biryani was straight FIRE. It was piping hot by the time it was delivered, ultra flavourful, ultra fresh and y’all there was so much MEAT! For the price, I was only expecting a little but literally every bite had boneless meat in it! And there’s a free raita on the side HELLO!! The rice was nice and separated - no stickage whatsoever.
I’m SO impressed it’s unreal. Totally made my night.
This isn’t a paid review btw I didn’t even take photos. I was so starved and that biryani was EXACTLY how I wanted it to be.
The only teeny tiny suggestion I would wanna make is for the restaurant to add spice levels to the biryani or offer a green chilli add on for those of us who like a fire in their tum tum. I can appreciate how they kept the spice at a manageable level for the gen pop 🩷

"Have ordered from here for years- before it was named D'Tandoor, when my extended family visited- and the Makhani/ Butter Chicken was the one food (of anything in her life) that my Grandma ever loved enough to have seconds of. Since then, I've introduced this restaurant to my partner and since the first time he requested Cheese Naan instead of plain naan (which is also delicious), we are especially hooked. Favourite dinner ever. Both the regular and the large sizes are enough for multiple serves for at least two people, sometimes more- same with the Cheese Naan but that doesn't last as well because it ends up getting devoured far too quickly. Makhani, korma, Dahl and saag are our favourites, but we will forever come back here for as long as we can for the delicious, creamy Butter Chicken and the cheesy naan (different to paneer naan but they have that too).
Couldn't recommend D'Tandoor more."

"The food was awful; we were so disappointed, considering we left a great review for our previous and first order. Firstly, what on earth was that tiny raw coconut flour thing?? That's not roti and for the price we paid, it was a joke. The egg roti was about the only saving grace. Secondly, there was no biryani. Thirdly they have the creme caramel, so just took it upon themselves to give us something we didn't order. Finally, most of the dish was just rice!! Where's the actual curry and meat? There was literally one small piece of meat for the entire meal! This, by far, has been THE worst order through Doordash by a mile. Nearly $80 later, we are never ordering from here again."

Roti was passable, not much flavour and lukewarm despite being only 8mins away. Again on the small side for $6. I've had the same quality and size for $3.50. Go for it if there's 40% off! "
