"Excellent chicken… very tender and tasty… rice is great… hummus is great… overall highly recommend"
"I would rate the food quality 1 out of 10. This was my second time ordering from this restaurant. The first time was okay, but this time was extremely disappointing. The Kabab Barg smelled so bad that we couldn’t even finish it, and the meat seemed like it had been cooked before and reheated. The eggplant borani was even worse. It tasted sour, almost like it had gone bad. I’ve had this dish many times at high-quality Persian restaurants, so I know how it’s supposed to taste. Something was definitely wrong with the kashk, and we couldn’t eat it either. Very disappointed with the freshness and quality of the food."

"Not sure who forgot the salt today. The rice is bland as well as the meat, tastes like nothing at all. Very disappointed. Typically their food is great, but today's plate is one of the worst I have ever had from any kabob restaurant in the area. $50 and no flavor is not acceptable."

"I subbed one of the chicken kabobs for a beef luleh kabob. The chicken and beef were so tender and juicy! Perfectly cooked, and partnered so well with the grilled veggies and Mediterranean salad. It definitely leaves you craving more, but you'll have to wait several hours because it is so filling!"

"MASSIS KABOB in the Glendale Galletis is a consistently delicious satisfying and healthy place to eat. We go back 25 years eating there and now ordering on line
The trout is fesh and so tasty
The Lula and chicken kabobs are sooo delicious
And MASSIS gives consistently generous portions for your money. They are honest and that is why we keep ordering from Massis rather than other places. .
God bless Massis Kabsb . "
"the #14 Chicken Breast Barg is very tasty. Just some of the pieces are not cooked well done. I wish there were more than four pieces.
I really like Massis' basmati rice. The tomato is good. I'd like the shirazi salad on the side to have more dressing/vinegar. "

"The food here is fresh and really tasty. I have recommended it to my family and friends and they all are very happy. The quality of the beef and chicken is on point and the salad dressing and the hummus are amazing. "
"I got the kebab combo very tasty they seem to be very consistent always moist not dry. The only thing I don't like is they charge you $2 to substitute sides like hummus for cucumber yogurt or any substitution. I can see maybe $1 but really $2?. Also, I tried ordering from their Panorama and Van Nuys location and hands down Panorama location is much better."

"I've eaten from here quite a few times. I don't know if it's authentic or not. However everything I've had has been delicious. I love the spicy cilantro sauce. I'd put it on everything if I could. The grilled chicken is tender and yummy. I'm super picky about chicken and I know I can get perfectly cooked chicken and not worry if its under or over cooked! "
"actually the food was OK meaning that the kebab was good but the rice was kind of dry and I was very surprised if they gave you one Pita for $2. The side of rice was at least 3 cups of rice if not more. Definitely not worth the price."

"I ordered the Green Bean Rice (Loobia Polo) (my favorite) and Persian Eggplant Appetizer. Lately, I've ordered from here about 3 times. The food is really good. The first time I ordered, the restaurant was out of something that I ordered, and the owner called me himself to either offer a refund or to replace the item. He was very nice and I appreciated the phone call."
"Unfortunately mediocre at best , wouldn't order again. Huma's and garlic sauce watery. Falafel unacceptable asked for on a wrap but they put it on a Hogie bun? Really? The buffalo sticks are new this time and let me tell you they have a lot of flavor and are really crunchy. Worth buying. Now for the main dish, the Chicken Platter has so much flavor and has so much portion for its price. The salad they give, even more flavorful. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking outside the box. And they hook you up with sauces if you ask. Overall really good food. Thank you New York Chicken & Gyro"

I got thin crust mushroom pizza and it was really good crispy crust, the sauce tasted great - not too thick or overpowering but enough to make the pizza nice and moist, (I don't like dry pizza). "Living in Glendale, I am familiar with Mediterranean food and all that it has to offer. I rarely give reviews but felt compelled to write this one because of how impeccably good this food is. I got the grilled salmon platter. Ordinarily, I have gotten a platter just like this from other places with serving sizes that were moderate to decent. The serving size is incredibly generous. The rice, salmon, and tabouleh were all well flavored and paired nicely with one another. Everything was tasty but I really want to place emphasis on the rice for sec; it is absolutely DELICIOUS. Some places treat rice as a blank canvas, but this rice could be a star all on its own! If you haven't given this place a try, do yourself a favor; you get more than a bang for your buck. GREAT food. 5/5!"

"My new favorite! I am glad I took a chance and tried this because they had a deal- the lamb was delicious and they had awesome portions. I wished there were more add ons I could have added like onions or etc but honestly it was perfectly seasoned and I will be ordering again and again. They also gave me a big portion of rice so that was amazing! Oh and the extra for some hummus is worth it."
"Shish kabob skewer plate and chicken kabob are both marinated beautifully, very flavorful and tender and everything is super fresh and plentiful! A family favorite place! The salads are very tasty as well! "

"FANTASTIC, great flavor, Elena doesn't skimp on portions. Seriously, to include tomato and peppers into the meal with no extra charge is unheard of elsewhere.
The hummus isn't banished to a tiny corner of the plate, and the garlic sauce is insane. This place has got the stuff. I'll be back"

"The Lentil soup and Falafels are must-haves...both are delicious and very filling. Kudos for the Dasher who delivers the soup hot."
"Compared to other restaurants this place was actually bad. We didnt eat much of our meal. Chicken and beef were not seasoned well (over seasoned and weird spices) and overcooked. Rice wasnt good. Falafel was inedible. There are so many good Mediterranean restaurants in town, dont waste your money on this one "

"I've tried practically every item on the menu. I'm more of a chicken & seafood girl so the shrimp/chicken barg are my favorites but the koobideh & beef shish are fantastic as well. "Excellent food!
Ordered the salmon came in a good portion in a decent ( finally...) size dish with perfectly grilled tomatoes, tender juicy grilled salmon and lots of rice
Which was not only good portion but very good, fresh and not dry like some Persian restaurants
They also fave me a free small salad with fresh cut tomatoes and cucumbers and great dressing
With tons of complimentary bread to go with my Chummus

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was hands down one of the best tuna sandwiches I’ve ever had. The tuna was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and generously packed into warm, freshly baked bread that had the perfect crisp on the outside while staying soft inside. Every bite was loaded with fresh tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and crunchy pickles that added the perfect balance of flavor and texture. You can tell they don’t cut corners on quality or portion size.
The fries were just as impressive—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. They were still hot and fresh when they arrived, which made the meal even better.
Everything was packaged securely, and all the sauces were included. From the presentation to the taste, this meal exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for an amazing tuna sandwich and some of the best fries around, this place absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be ordering again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, high-quality meal."

"I can honestly say it’s hard to find Mediterranean food of this quality, especially at such a late hour. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous—this plate could easily feed almost three people, especially by California standards.
I’m not sure if the pita bread is made in-house, but it was the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the food really stood out, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into what you do.
Thank you so much for a great meal. I will definitely be ordering again!"
