"There's a few hot chicken places in SCV but this is definitely the best around. We got the Flock 2 which had 3 chicken sando meals for a discounted price. Each meal comes with 2 sandos so it's a great value for flavorful, actually moist, white meat chicken. We got the mild and medium. If you like spice, medium was perfect without it being overly spicy where you can't enjoy the food anymore. Some places say "medium" but it's really "hot." The steak was horrible, worst in my life that I've ever had. Cooking was correct - a medium, not overdone. I cannot blame the chefs and other staff members...However, this establishment skimps on portions plus quality of goods. I have a feeling their managers instructed them to skimp on everything too. They had the cheapest cut in the world. Please save yourself the regret.
I spent $95 on a $60 order after fees, etc. I was spending almost a hundred bucks on food WORSE THAN OUTBACK! listen to me or you'll regret your decision.
To be fair, it might be different if you're dining in. Also food came cold but whatever. Takes time to deliver and whatnot. This wasn't a big issue.But I'll never give this place a chance IRL. Ribs were OK (tiny portion though).

"As a sushi chef myself I can confidently say that Tokai is in my top 3 spots for sushi in SCV. The quality of the fish is very good. I appreciated the fact that they actually marinated the Ikura (salmon roe). Many sushi restaurants skip this step so you just end up eating salty salmon eggs. My only complaint is I think the marination proved to be a little too much on the sweet side. Other than that my meal was fantastic.
I ordered the BAKED GREEN MUSSELS which are probably the best tasting ones in SCV.
The red SURF CLAM SUSHI (1PC) which isn't for everyone but has always been one of my favorites.
SEARED SALMON SUSHI (1PC) which was delicious.
MONKFISH LIVER SUSHI (1PC) another one of those things that people don't normally order but it was also delicious
