It was an excellent pizza! Desano has some of the best pizza in town and is always consistent with fresh ingredients. IMO they're as good and even better than Home Slice and a few other well known places.
My only issue is for the size and ingredients, it's really overpriced . It's not really a full 12", and was $22 or so BEFORE taxes, delivery etc. Without the delivery fee, it was a $30 pizza! I dont expect it to be super cheap, but Can yall do better? Id order more and more often if so, as think a lot of people would.

"Eaten here many times. Very good pizza. We ordered Capricciosa Pizza | 12" , did not disappoint , the chopped salad was solid but was hoping for more chop and didn't love the sweet balsamic. The Diavola |16" was great especially for a Calabrese pepper lover. Make sure to order extra sides of Calabrese butter! Crust is very floppy here but great texture and fun to chew. Meatballs were solid. "

"I am so glad they brought back their Wedding Soup! It is one of the best soups I've ever had. I wish they offered it in a quart size and the Parmer location also offered the Spaghetti Carbonara like the original location (hint, hint). They also have a few new items as well, and I tried the Chicken Meatballs which were tasty. However, the Fedelini Pachino was bland and dry. I fixed it by adding some of the olive oil dipping sauce that came with the bread. The focaccia was also a bit undercooked and not golden on top like normal. There was only one container of dipping oil and one container of grated cheese for the entire order, which was not enough. However, the Kids Pizza was fresh and tasty as was the Sand Tart and Pignoli Cookie. I consider Mandola's the GOAT for Italian food in Austin and have been a customer since they opened in The Triangle back in the day. I was sad when the quality started declining (I too had two bad tasting oily breaded chicken dishes as others have mentioned). I can tell they are making an effort to get back to the good, consistent quality of Italian food that I enjoy. I will order again."

"It's good, but for $18, I'd expect more than 3 tiny slivers of basil (one of the cheapest and most abundant herbs on earth) on the Margherita. There wasn't even enough basil for there to be some on each slice. It just kinda felt insulting. "The best pizza in Austin - and our family are pizza snobs! The reasons for this:
- BEST crust in ATX .. not too hard/"crackery" and not too soft. Thicker than a Brooklyn style yet still easy to fold. Not as thick as a traditional crust. It's an A+.
- The sauce is good. There are a few other pizza places here with slightly better sauce by itself, but the sauce & the crust are a great combo.
- Perfect amount of cheese. I know some love it, and some REALLY love it - and I think for us it's just "perfect." It doesn't eclipse the toppings.
- And speaking of toppings, they are fresh!
This is OUR FAVORITE pizza in ATX, not that others aren't good - there are some great candidates out there. But for now, this is the blue ribbon pizza for our weird city."

"The food was great! 600 Degrees makes delicious pizza! The issue was the timing. Long story short, I waited at the restaurant for an hour for my food. Long story long: before ordering it said that my order would be ready in 20 minutes for a pick up order or 40 minutes for delivery. So I chose pick up. I ordered at 7:09pm with a pick up time of 7:33pm. When I got to the store just after my pickup time, they informed me that it would likely take 20 more minutes. I ended up having to waiting an additional hour. I got my food at 8:30pm. Many other people were waiting a long time for their food. They ended up giving me 2 free sodas and a cake. They were nice kids working, but I won't DoorDash from this restaurant again."

I placed a huge shrimp on the bread and ate them together and it was awesome with just the right amount of bite. It's definitely an appetizer that could be shared but I used it as my lunch. I think there were 9 jumbo shrimp and 6 bread squares that could have been cute smaller to have enough for the number of shrimp. When they say jumbo shrimp, they delivered! So many times I've ordered jumbo shrimp and I'm lucky if they edge to large. Thanks for a very enjoyable lunch. If you haven't tried this dish, you're missing a real treat."
