"Being Filipino and grew up eating Jollibee, we know exactly how the food should taste. I ordered from Jollibee in Covina and Today's order was disappointing. The spicy chicken was spicy but the chcken itself had no flavor, what happened?!!! The palabok was the same, no shrimp flavor, and no seasoning, it was very bland.... it had 2 pieces of boiled eggs, but there was no green onions or calamansi. Also, the peach mango pies was a big miss because usually the filling would spill as soon as you bite into it, but for my order, you have to eat half of the pies to get to the filling that was also bland. I called the store and they offered to replace the chicken if i go to the store with my Doordash receipt but what the point of ordering thru Doordash if i have to drive to the store and to get the same flavorless food was not worth it. Totally disappointing experience! I will not order from the Covina branch again, as the quality control on the food was lacking. The West Covina one has been on point. "

"I like trying new things, so i always go with Doordash and their recommendations. This one was ok but the entire experience just felt lackluster . I waited a full hour for the order--i dont know where the driver was but i think an hour to deliver is just unacceptable, When i opened the sandwich, it was not tightly packed and the contents just fell out in a heaping mess when taking a bite. It was just soggy and the pita bread was so wet because it had been a full hour since i got it. Shawarma's are designed to be eaten right away so this doesnt happen. The flavor was ok, it wasnt bad , but it didnt really blow me away like Georgie's did, The Toum butter was the same, it was just ok.
The Shawarma not being packed tight was an indication to me that it was not authentic . Having lived in Dubai for 5 years, i have had unforgettable Shawarma's on roadsides for rhe equivalent of a dollar . Spending $26 today just didnt feel worth it, Im sure they have a fanbase who feels otherwise and maybe i just had an off day experience, but all in all, it was just ok. Please pack the shawarma tighter so it doesnt make a mess all over the place."

"Just discovered this place accidentally in person in October 2025 and realized I haven't reviewed them yet. This is my new favorite place when I want to treat myself which is once a month. The ingredients are top quality and fresh and it's absolutely to die for! I've told my entire family (that live 30 miles away on the Westside) about the brownie. They all (like me) were like "I'm not big on sweets", until they actually took one bit of it when I brought one with me. Then they wanted more. lol Those popular Dubai Chocolate bars you see on TikTok have nothing on this brownie. Highly recommend. I've also tried the chocolate dipped Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Oreo's, Krispy Fingers and cream puffs. All are great as well (just not as great as the Dubai Brownie). Chocolate Covered Strawberries are always great here because the strawberry's are good and fresh. If you do get the cream puffs, go light on the liquid toppings-like no more than two. Everything there looks amazing there. I probably won't try everything there because like I said, I'm not a regular sweet tooth kind of a gal, but I will try the Dubai shake next and maybe the crepes.
Their location is always clean and stocked. I love their packaging and how they pack to-go orders with care, they are nice and friendly and a few times I've been given samples depending on who is running the shop the day I go in. Everything so far is delicious, fresh, has great portions and I think I've been here 4 times now. I'll keep coming back unless they get rid of the Dubai Brownie."
