I purchased the La Tapatia combination plate that came with two beef enchiladas, a chile relleno, a crunchy beef taco, and a side of rice and beans. I also ordered a side of sour cream and additionally was provided with a bag of chips with a small side of salsa and queso.
Usually not a fan of chips from a Mexican restaurant when they’ve been delivered. They are always cold, stale and unsalted. I was very shocked to find that the complimentary to-go chips were quite the opposite. I did not try the salsa. The queso was bland and arrived thick/congealed. The side of sour cream was small for the price paid.
I found the beef enchiladas, crisp taco, Spanish rice and beans to be flavorful and of good portion size. The pepper had a funny taste to it, and the texture was mush.
Overall, I perceived it as a decent value for what was provided. My Dasher arrived with my food late and it was cold, so I’m sure that also contributed to the review."
