"First time ordering from here. Not bad but still room for improvement. For the Philly steak combo, sandwich was a bit greasy and meat was unseasoned. Same goes for the Double cheeseburger combo but only for the unseasoned part. I understand being considerate of medical issues like high blood pressure but i think you should be able to know how to at least LIGHTLY salt your food enough so that it can have some flavor and nobody gets hurt. If the restaurant sees this, I recommend going for low/no sodium seasonings. I love potato wedges but they needed an extra minute. One thing I will say though is that the prices of these meals were the best. I hope they don't change too much. I hope this restaurant continues to improve."

"We visit Memphis often from the gulf coast of AL. Finding good Vietnamese food, especially pho is a challenge here. My daughter and I are Pho connoisseurs. We eat Pho 3 times a week so we do have high expectations. We ordered the Pho Tai and Pho Lonely I appreciate they offer a no meat options without requiring a Pho Ga (chicken broth base). The Pho was good. It didn't taste bad. It was heavier on the cardamom and Coriander side which wasn't bad, just strayed slightly from traditional pho. Typically the spices are timed perfectly so you don't get bitterness and the spices are balanced. Again, it was one of the nicer bowls of pho we've had in TN. If you're use to eating traditional Vietnamese food, you won't be disappointed. We also had the Taro Ube Milk Tea and the Cream Brulee Coffee both were good and worth ordering. I'm assuming, given how hard it is to find here, traditional warm tapioca boba is hard to find. Either they're out or don't offer it. The restaurant did personally call me and tell me they were out of the original Taro Ube Milk Tea we ordered and replaced it with the cream brûlée version. My daughter still liked it and said it was good."
"My daughter and I have struggled to find great pho and ramen since visiting Memphis, so we were excited to try Pho Haven. The reviews were excellent, the photos looked promising, and we had high hopes.
From a delivery standpoint, everything was spot on. Our order arrived on time and included all the utensils, sauces, and add ins we needed, which we truly appreciated.
We’re originally from the Gulf Coast of Alabama, where we have access to a wide variety of diverse and delicious Vietnamese restaurants, some of the best, in our opinion, so our expectations are understandably high. One difference we noticed was that the garnishes, particularly the bean sprouts, were already placed in the bowl rather than served on the side. Had we known this beforehand, we would have requested them separately, as we prefer to add them gradually while eating.
When it comes to pho, the broth is everything. While Pho Haven’s broth wasn’t bad, it lacked the depth and rich, soul comforting flavor we’re accustomed to. The pre added bean sprouts created an overwhelming taste, and my daughter was unable to finish her bowl because of it. Unfortunately, neither of us felt compelled to finish our meals.
We both ordered the Pho Tái (rare steak). The steak itself was somewhat rubbery and underwhelming in flavor. Additionally, the broth arrived lukewarm, requiring us to reheat it in the microwave. Since the hot broth is a must have for properly cooking the raw steak, this affected the overall experience.
We also ordered two milk boba teas, taro ube and brown sugar. Similar to the pho, these were underwhelming compared to what we’re used to back home. The boba pearls were unusual, lacking the traditional dark tapioca pearls rich flavor, sweetness, and signature chewy texture. These were small, firm and flavorless.
All in all, while the delivery and order accuracy were excellent, the food itself fell short of our expectations. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t quite hit the mark, especially when compared to even our least favorite Vietnamese spots back home. We wouldn't order again."
