I am Iranian and I do not recommend the fesenjan. It's tart, a little watery. Tadig was covered in sesame seeds and was not fond of that. Go to restaurant that focuses on only Persian food if you are looking to have any dish that isn't kabob."

"Oh wow!! I ordered the chicken soup and a skewer of the ribeye shishkabab cubes. The rib-eye is the BEST ribeye I've had in I don't know when!! Perfectly cooked, and SO tender!! "Never thought I would leave Open Sesame a bad review but I have to in this case. We ordered Tabouleh Salad, Baba Ghannouj, Kibbi, Hummus and Chicken Tawook 8 pc.
Everything tasted good but this was the most expensive Mediterranean restaurant we've ordered food from and it had the smallest portions. Kibbi was small compared to other places. The hummus could not have been more than 6 oz and same goes for the Tabouleh (with pita bread it was $21.55).
They also forgot to give us the Baba Ghannouj.
Won't be ordering DD from them anymore, unfortunately. Our local place is just as good (with the exception of the hummus) with larger portions and a little bit cheaper.

Be cautious when looking at menu: If you decide to order the Filet mignon kabob (dinner), notice there are two offered: One is for the full dinner which includes the (yummy) rice and veggies, and the other, is just filet mignon kabob (pieces of). The most ironic of all is there's a picture of the filet mignon kabob dinner where just the one kabob is offered when it should be in the same caption of the other one. So, it can be a bit confusing. I shared half of my rice with my teenaged son, and he enjoyed it with his filet pieces. It sufficed, but only because I was able to get creative and also fill him up with the extra naan I ordered ;)
