"We have loved the food from here for almost a decade now, but this was the first time we tried delivery from here. It was a really good experience! Everything came so well packed and organized. The Chicken Koobideh (2 Skwr) was moist and juicy, the Chicken Barg was soft and grilled very well, and the Chicken/Beef Combo was flavorful and savory. We tried the albaloo polo as well, it was full of cherries throughout, and not overly sweet. The Sangak was a unique bread, it had a rich texture. But we liked the fact that lavash was included in the meal, with no extra cost. The salad was fresh, and tabouli was crisp and had a nice lemon flavor. The yellow dressing that came with the salad was mustardy tasting, we enjoyed that with the white rice, which was fluffy and salted well. Butter packs, sumac, and cutlery came with no extra cost. Really appreciate the good customer service, even for delivery. "
"I love gheyme and gheyme bademjan, so I was really looking forward to this dish. Unfortunately, it was almost all eggplant with very little gheyme. It was also extremely greasy and lacked flavor—it needed salt, spices.

"The only positives were the convenience of picking it up on my way home from work and the taste of the salad dressing. The vinaigrette they use for their house dressing has that rare balance of sweet, sour, and salty that is the hallmark of a good dressing.
But I can't say this place is a good value. For $18.49, the meal I got barely qualified as a light meal. You get a tiny amount of gyro meat on top of not a whole lot of rice, and the amount of pita wedges also leaves a bit to be desired. What food I did (aside from the salad and the dressing) didn't impress me with its flavor, lacking any depth or complexity that you'd get with better Greek restaurants elsewhere.
Save your money and try someplace else like Cafe Athena or Troy's."

"Greek Food So Good, I Almost thought I was in Greece.
If happiness had a flavor, it would taste like the chicken gyro and lemon potatoes with tzatziki from this place. Yum! Add of course the chicken souvlaki skewers—grilled to perfection despite being transported in a car haha — I am basically living my best at-home Mediterranean life.
And let’s not forget about the Avgolemono (lemon chicken) Soup. It was both delicious, and comforting.

"This is the best tasting indian food in san diego. it is more sophisticated than other restaurants. The tikka masala is fantastic. I've eaten at lots of other indian places and it just tastes better. I also like that there are traditional items that are different from normal American menus. I was introduced to Sambar Idli and it is DELICIOUS, highly recommend. It is enough for a meal. My only complaint is that the Papadum only comes with a few tiny pieces -- not enough to be worth $4, and the chutney is also a teeny tiny amount of 2 kinds - tamarind and mint cilantro, not worth $4. The Chhole Bhature had one single bhatura/bread as opposed to the standard two. I don't know what happened to Madras Cafe's quality control in the past year or so.
