Wasn't super impressed, but not worth docking a star for. Just wouldn't order this salad again. The SM 10" - 6 Slices ( 1-2 people ) was AMAZING. The buttery crust was filled with delicious toppings. The chicken was thick-sliced breast meat, and the mushrooms, sausage, garlic, and pepperoni all were plentiful as well! The Wings were gone in a flash! He said he wants to try them fried next time. So, so good. Loved the convenience of a 2 Liter Bottle of Sprite, too. This week has been HARD on us and thank you for making dinner easy and delicious tonight. "First time trying Sals, I like the NY theme and they get points for having Black and white cookies but for the price the pizza was not good enough even from a Southern California perspective ( not known for our pizza, good spots aren't that common). I'd give it a pass if it wasn't pushing the NY presentation but because it is I have to judge accordingly. My Dads side of the family is from Bronx/yonkers so I grew up visiting there and Jersey and also scouting out the good local places in SD and OC. The biggest issue was the crust, I ordered well done and got undercooked floppy pizza, crust didn't have much of a taste either. Wasn't much sauce on it so didn't really notice what it tasted like it was so subtle. Cheese was good quality though and tasty. "

There are some close runner ups but this is definitely mine and my youngest boys new favorite, my oldest says it's in his top 3 for sure, the only reason I think he didn't crown it the King of local pizzas is cause we didn't get the thin Crust that he normally prefers."

"One evening, I had a huge craving for rigatoni. It's funny that I accidentally ordered food from this restaurant. Thought I was ordering from BJ'S restaurant chain. The mistake was a great one, though. Was pleasantly surprised that the rigatoni with marinara sauce was just like I made at home! Great flavor, just spicy enough. Plus, it's a generous portion that's enough for two meals. A great bargain considering the prices these days. The garlic cheese bread was great as well. Highly recommend. A new accidental favorite!"
