In that moment I knew why the food was so good. I literally could have responded in Greek with zero doubt that we would have immediately went into conversation. The food I have had so far has been very authentic for restaurant quality. I'd say the spinach pie is as close as you're going to get as having one my mom made for example. It also could have used more seasoning. The bread was a little stale, which didn't help, and I wasn't able to finish the sandwich because the meat was so tough.
I'm Puerto Rican and grew up in Florida, so I've had my fair share of great steak sandwiches, and this one just didn't live up to my expectations.
