"I was really disappointed with the quality of the food during this visit. I ordered a Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch Quesadilla-which is currently my favorite item at Zaxby's!! Yum! And I also ordered a regular size French fries with the delicious seasoning they add. I know there's a clock on fries before they get cold so I usually eat them on the ride home so I can enjoy them while they're warm. So I immediately opened them up and grabbed a fry. They tasted like cardboard and were cold, tough, dried out, with no flavor and basically inedible. When I got home, I even tried dipping them in ranch sauce but that didn't help. After that, I just gave up and threw them in the trash. The quesadilla was delicious as usual. I think whoever filled the fry order didn't feel it was important enough to prepare fresh fries so they used product that had probably been lying there since the lunch rush-because it was mid-afternoon. Unacceptable!!
I have a strict 3 strike rule no matter how much I love the restaurant and Zaxby's is in my top 3 faves. It pains me to say it but that's strike #1 for that location. Hopefully, I won't have to give up my favorite nearby fast food restaurant here in London. Management needs to conduct some individual training if that's what is required to improve quality of food and service."
