The Chicken and Cheese Empanada was really stuffed with chicken. However, I did not taste any cheese, therefore it was a little dry. It was still good. I think the amount of chicken included needed a little moisture.

We also ordered sides of rice and beans, which in the pictures are red beans, but they came as black beans - not very flavorful and very watery. The tostones were very thick and barely smashed. The order took well over the time we were quoted and the dasher stated that when she got to the restaurant, they were unaware they had even received a DoorDash order, then proceeded to make everything at that time. We used to like the establishment, but the food has declined and the service seems to be substandard. For an order that was well over $100, we did not see the value or quality. Won't be back again, nor would I recommend."

You had to keep stirring the drink to keep the cinnamon mixed. It did get better when some rum was added. Bistec / Steak Tacos, they were awful. The was no flavor in the meat at all, salt couldn't even rescue them. I ordered from this place from the reviews on TikTok. I'm not sure about how they review but this is a honest review. Rate: 2/5 - I'm being generous with my score."

"The packaging was horrible. The food was leaning on the side that the sauce from the Molcajete Zapata spilled out and soaked through all the other orders that were in the bag. The amount of rice and beans they gave for the Pescado Frito was so small that there is barely anything there to eat. I've order from El Zapata for years and this has never happened before.
