this is a carnitas place. I did not get carnitas, I got Pozole Michoacano / Michoacan Pozole and Menudo. I only eat Menudo from very specific places because my grandma from Michoacan, always spoiled us with the best menudo, so I often end up dissapointed. In my opinion, both the pozole and the menudo were extremely greasy and the menudo flavor just did not meet expectations.
with that said, everything was packaged very nicely with all the fixings needed to have a delicious Mexican Sunday breakfast so I am sure if you like Carnitas, this place might be a winner. Just dont get the pozole or menudo."

"Usually, the food here is excellent but this time it was subpar. The House Soft Noodle (Chicken, Beef, Shrimp) had hardly any flavor. It was adequate. The Vegetable with Chicken or Beef had absolutely ZERO flavor. There was a lot of chicken breast in it as well as the veggies I asked for in the instructions but it tasted like it was stir fried without and sauce or seasonings not even oil. "I'm so happy they're now on doordash. I live in Mission Valley and the vietnamese food here is trash. This is the absolute BEST spot for chinese bbq/vietnamese food. I ordered the 31. Mì Xào Bò / Heo / Gà / Xá Xíu (Mềm / Dòn), 80. Vịt Quay, and 122. Cà Phê Phin Sữa (Nóng Hoặc Đá). In other words, the crispy noodles with chicken, roast duck, and iced coffee. Noodles were perfectly fried and the gravy was the perfect consistency. I will say I would have preferred to have it a little sweeter, like just a pinch of sugar but that was an easy fix at home. The roast duck was AMAZING. Good flavor and the meat eas so tender. Iced coffee was strong and delicious as well. Will definitely keep ordering from here."

"Everything was fantastic. Loved the favors of the tender Broccoli with Beef 牛欄 and although the Mongolian Beef 蒙古牛 was not spicy it still had all the soy sauce flavor. It's a big portion per plate with a small side. I got the same side with both orders so they just put it in one large container. The Large Noodles 32oz is enough for my lunch alone. This literally fed my family of four and I had two days of lunch still. Highly recommend for a single person who wants to do lazy meal prep."

"First time trying. It was just ok. It's not bad but it's just not good. Very reasonable prices and they give you a lot of food. Ordered take out, got the Zesty orange chicken and beef fried rice. Orange chicken pieces were all stuck together and had to pull hard to get off the other pieces, The sauce was good but the texture of the batter and chicken needed some fine tuning.. The fried rice was moist and had some flavor but eehhh and the meat was thick and tender but just missing something... I probably won't be ordering from here again. 🤷♂️"

"I'm all about getting the underdogs a shot and hoping for the best but this place is really NOT some sort of misunderstood gem. Quite the contrary. Got a Combo- Orange chicken is so questionable for a plethora of reasons. The sauce is almost like jelly like- clumpy and slimy ish. There's a weird bitter aftertaste. Most of it is fried batter with small portions of meat inside that are extremely dry and chewy. The veggie egg rolls taste like curry. Don't get me wrong, I love a good curry dish, but was not expecting the inside of these rolls to taste like curried cabbage. No wonder they didn't come with the classic red dipping sauce? The veggie lo main could maybe be salvageable. Maybe. It's a little on the saltier side and literally only has cabbage. No other veggie in it. That doesn't bug me. It's just the whole thing is a terrible disaster. It's so sad that there aren't that many options near me to order good ol Chinese combos where the container barely closes and it hits the spot on a lazy Sunday. The portions were very much normal, but with this atrocity you're better off just ordering from Panda Express. For real. PS NO fortune cookie included either. Just thought I'd mentioned that as well. "
