"Pio Pio 6 on the corner of 94th and Amsterdam is one of a small chain of Peruvian restaurants in the city. Although I've only tried two I suspect they are all good choices for authentic food and drink. In recent days I only order delivery or take out but if memory serves the wait staff are friendly and efficient. For my needs the delivery is always prompt and well packaged. While their chicken dishes are the most popular I can attest that virtually all the dishes are well prepared and tasty, especially the lomo saltado and seafood entrees and children always love the hot dogs. I usually order the jalea, a wonderful fried mixed seafood selection available in half and full size portions. It is accompanied by their famous green sauce, also sold in larger sizes for home consumption. Highly recommended!"
