The hot matcha lattes are always on point during the cold season, while all the other cold deinks, from the Thai tea, POG tea, to their boba and jellies, have always been excellent. "We tried this new boba place. The boba in each of the drinks is overcooked on the outside and slightly hard gelatin in the center, so the inside isn't fully cooked. The flavors themselves aren't pleasant. The Vietnamese Coffee is very bitter with a burnt undertone. The Okinawa Roasted Brown Milk Tea has little flavor aside from a bitter aftertaste, but quite bland. The Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea is mild but not appealing on the palate. My kids refuse to drink these as keep saying they taste gross. The drinks are in tall and slender sturdy plastic containers. They same bundled together in a thick plastic bag with a handle, stapled at the top to prevent spilling. The boba straw is thicker plastic than any other place we've gotten boba from in the past. So package quality is great. We won't be ordering here again tho due to the boba consistency and flavor being unpleasant."

"Tonkotsu Black Ramen(Thin). Taste was awesome as always. The eggs were perfect and yummy. The pork is normally tasty, very tender, and juicy. This time it was dry, chewy, and bland. Very disappointing, especially after paying for delivery. It made it hard to eat and getting stuck in my teeth.
The gyoza was also chewy. Tast was there and the inside was good (as always) but the skin was dry and chewy. Nicely browned but really chewy more like overdone air fried.
So, with tip and delivery, $43 for a bowl of ramen and 6 gyoza, leaves me feeling There's better options elsewhere next time."

"I ordered the Jackfruit Tacos, and The Gummy Bear drink. Not only was this my FIRST Modern Tea Room experience, but it was my first time eating jackfruit. I was impressed. I heard jackfruit can be like meat, but I didn't expect to have to continuously remind myself that it wasn't. It was so good, the seasoning is very on point it was bold and savory, the slaw was a nice balance with sweet and the salsa put a nice touch with a kick of heat to it. The packaging is top tier as well, gotta put in some elbow grease to open it, which is reassuring for a delivered meal. The Gummy Beardrink is not only fun, but refreshing, perfect for Summer with a splash of Spring vibes. If I were to describe this dish, it's honestly a bowl version on what they could put in onigiri style. "

The Pa-nang curry and chicken Paht Krapow have no vegetables and the taste is weak with no Thai basil or coconut milk or galangal flavor. It's basically shredded chicken in curry. Shrimp with Hot Sauce Thai Style tastes good but the quantity is cup sized with a few mushrooms floating in gravy. The only dish that was good was Papaya Salad. Overall, for the price, which is comparableto other thai restaurants, this place is not worth it. "
