Although the food arrived quite expeditiously from the time I placed my order, it wasn't as warm as I was expecting. The one rib I got was cold and the beef was room temperature. Also, the beef was a combo of chopped and small quarters, which I wasn't expecting. I was hoping for full bite-sized pieces. My chicken was tender but semi-dry in some pieces. I'm not certain of I ordered on a bad day but, my food has always been piping hot when I got it home (I live minutes from the restaraunt). I was also disappointed in the portions. In the past, I had enough food for two servings. However, not today. Seems like everywhere else; prices go up and portions go down. My scoops of rice and macaroni were so small, I couldn't believe my eyes. I may try again but it will be a moment due to my disappointment."

The Paniolo fries were so decadent. The bbq sauce had so much depth & you'd think pineapple & American cheese would not taste good but it works wonderfully. The potatoes alone I could snack on all day. That was a meal by itself. Then I ordered 1 garlic shrimp & 1 coconut shrimp & wow. It was clear to me the shrimp wasn't frozen. I used to work at Tommy Bahamas & their coconut shrimp is homogenized. This, however had layers. Pineapple, cashews, & coconut, perfectly seasoned & fresh. Plus it was enormous! Insert pic. "First and foremost, I want to recognize the big ole smiles I was greeted with when I walked through the doors. The vibes everyone was giving off, the decor, everything reminded me of Hawaii. Which if you've been, how can you not miss it. I ordered ahead and for takeout but next time I will be sitting down inside to really enjoy the atmosphere because I can tell it's something special. The Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich and Engl Muffin with Lilikoi Butterish were fantastic. That passion fruit butter is so good. Very subtle and not overpowering in any way but delivered a delightful taste you don't get with regular butter or any of those horrible infused preservatives you find on the shelves. The everything bagel my sandwich was served on was very filling. I always talk about feeling a good full after meals. Where I don't feel lethargic or exhausted. These left me feeling more than satisfied. The Snickerdoodle Latte was perfect for me. Not too sweet but definitely not overpowered by coffee.
