What I didn't like was that you have to pay extra to add any Wasabi or ginger to your order. Otherwise you wouldn't get any. I think if you order sushi, it should come free of charge with every roll. The portion for ginger and wasabi was also pretty small even when you pay for it. If they want to avoid waste, that's great but then just let the customer select if they want ginger or Wasabi but keep it free. I wish they didn't forget the Eureka roll and wouldn't charge for wasabi/ginger but every roll was delicious with the Rainbow probably being my favorite one. I'd order here again! "

You can taste all of the ingredients they throw into the sushi rolls, and that speaks to the freshness in my opinion. Its perfect in terms of portion size, quality, taste, price, and overall value. "Okay first off any reviews saying it's different from your standard sushi clearly didn't research the place enough. This is a Mexican chain from Mexico that serves Japanese Mexican fusion food, hence why it's chipotle mayo not siracha mayo. Secondly, anything that has a fried element, do yourself a favor and eat at the restaurant. Even with holes in a packaged container, it's never going to retain that same crisp as in person. They give extra sauce with the beef teriyaki so it's not dry but it's flavored very well and is a deal considering how much the yakatori sticks are for only like 4 pieces. The food is fabulous. The restaurant is amazing. The DoorDash food like any take home isn't as good but everything is fresh and amazing compared to McDonald's or all the other options. It's healthy too! "I've been a customer of Ichiban forever and have always enjoyed their food. I started noticing their reduced portions in the past couple of years, but it has now gotten ridiculous. We used to get a tray with several different portions, plus tea and soup for one price. Now, portions are very small, tea and soup are $ extra. Also noticed the egg rolls are greasy and filled only with like 2 ingredients. The final straw was the 6-piece Fried Shrimp which they used to serve whole. but now cut the shrimp in half--and increased the price. The Fried Vegetable were over-breaded and unappetizing. It's unfortunate that Ichiban has lost its appeal."

"It's really good for price! Not fantastic, but it's not a Michelin restaurant. I never been in the restaurant, only ordered delivery couple of times.
