"my family has been coming to Lou's for YEARS, and the sandwiches have always been consistent even over time and of course super yummy. My personal favorite is either Space Balls (meatballs, marina, all the fixins' on a soft roll), and the Hot Pastrami (warm pastrami with, you guessed it, all the fixins.)
Lou's cafe has been a huge part of my childhood, especially as a St. Gabe's student/alumni, and even after all these years is still my go to spot in the neighborhood for sandwiches, even now that I'm approaching college.

"First the Calamari was dynamite and ultra a crispy, even though it was delivered. Butter Garlic fries, like come on so decadent and flavorful. "The food was mid. I've tried lots of Chinese spots in the area and this one was just ok. Everything lacked flavor. The B3. Hot and Sour Soup tasted like it was made with dirty water. I took 2 bites and threw it out. The L44. Scrambled Egg Prawns had a weird brown sauce that was very salty. Usually when i order this dish there is no sauce. The texture of the beans in the L19. String Bean Chicken was perfect but the whole dish just lacked flavor. I probably won't order from here again as there are better options at the same price point. "

"I was given a good amount of snow crab, a nice sized lobster tail, which was succulent and sweet. My shr imps were fresh and tasty. I love the orzo rice and the brussel sprouts too. I think for the amount I paid it was well worth it. Cheddar biscuits and raspberry iced tea was good too. "

Broccoli cooked perfectly and not overcooked. Biscuits ok too. Again, we ordered Takeout so food usually doesn't taste the same as if we dined in. We enjoyed but for the price it was meh."
