"We usually love ordering from here, the tacos are usually so filling and jam packed with meat, we usually love the flavor and amount of meat on the tacos. However, today we were less than pleased. I would rate them a 4.5 any other time but today it's a 1.5. My al pastor tacos were really bean and pineapple tacos, not worth $13, besides not having enough meat to even taste, the flavor of the tiny pieces of meat was very disappointing. The carnitas tacos were okay, but the plate appeal was not there (when it usually is).
This is sad because this was one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in San Francisco.

The carne and carnitas burritos were so good. Moist, well-seasoned, and standard portioned. I wish they offered a super burrito option.
The only criticism I have is the Guacamole and Chips was not very seasoned. Guac could use some more salt.

"El Buen Comer is my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Francisco. The Pozole Verde With Chicken is divine: plenty of plump hominy and pieces of chicken. Also, the broth is exquisisitely thick, not watery. The tacos with carnitas were also very good; nothing beats a hand-made corn tortilla. These are my go-to choices whenever I order from here. This was my first time ordering Huevos Divorciados (PF). They were unforgettable. I so often get over- or under-cooked eggs when ordering at restaurants, but these were perfect, not at all greasy, and accompanied by just the right amount of frijoles and rice. I was worried the tortillas would be tough, since they're "lightly fried", but they weren't: no need for a knife! I will definitely be ordering them again. I just wish they would bring back their delicious PORK TAMALES which have been gone for almost a year now. I miss them every time I order from here. "
