"The Rice Noodle with Sliced Rare Beef & Flank is not the best pho in town or anything, but it is as good as most of the other places—and $9 instead of $19. It's a full serving (with plenty left over), unlike some of the newer places. And it comes in separate containers for the broth, noodles+meat, and toppings (which is especially nice if the delivery is late and you want to reheat the broth without cooking the rare beef and the bean sprouts—the restaurant is usually very fast, but none of the delivery services are reliable nowadays…).
Similarly, the Grilled Pork Sandwich is nothing fancy, just a perfectly good standard bahn mi, but where else do you get that for $4.50?
I do wish they put the proper Vietnamese names on the menu (as they do on the other delivery services); it's sometimes a bit hard to guess which English name matches the dish I want. But otherwise, no complaints.
I love Vietnam House, and will definitely order from them again (many more times)."

If I were to be picky, my least favorite was the spicy won ton (primarily because it was basically eating just the won ton wrapper without much else in the way of filling). I ordered 4 dishes (really 3 because the won ton is more of an appetizer) and between my girlfriend and myself, we easily have enough food for 2 full meals. The ingredients are all pretty standard, there's nothing that stands out as far as that, but the execution is amazing. Whoever's manning that wok knows what they're doing because I've never had chow fun where the noodles are cooked this perfectly and everything has that lovely wok hei/very slightly charred flavor. And it's been consistently good every time I've gone there."

The Grilled Pork Vermicelli / 烤豬肉米粉 was presented beautifully (well packaged beautifully) and was a huge portion, but that’s about it. The grilled pork wasn’t very good quality meat and sliced too thin so it was dry. There was barely enough sauce and no herbs so the flavor overall was lacking. I also paid an extra $1.50 to add eggrolls. It was just 1 pretty small egg roll. They could have put 2.
The Banh mi + drink combo was a disaster. I got cold cut sandwich. There was a lot of meat and pate which was awesome except that i had to pay extra for the pate. I thought it was standard for a combo cold cut banh mi to have pate. There were no green veggies in the sandwich except one TINY sliver of cucumber. You can see for yourself in the photo i included. No cilantro, no jalapeño, just a tiny piece of cucumber. Very disappointing
I would not order from here again as there are way better options in the area.
