"The CEDAR PLANK SALMON* is always excellent, as are the sides that accompany it (sautéed spinach and corn salad). My only complaint is that CPK no longer includes the tiny cedar planks with each order. I saved them and reused them for salmon I grilled myself. Divine -- made the way my ancestors prepared it.
The CHICKEN PICCATA was also excellent -- and CPK didn't skimp on the capers as I've found most restaurants do. They also cut the chicken fillet small enough to eat without needing to cut it. The sauce was lemony and creamy without being too tart; just right. I also appreciate that they offer a choice of pastas. The pasta was slightly overcooked, but still had a tiny bit of resistance. I will definitely order it again.
The "New" NEW - STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE was tasty: fresh strawberries and a lovely shortcake biscuit. My only complaint here is that they forgot to include the whipped cream. I never get ice cream with strawberry shortcake, but without the cream, it just isn't Strawberry Shortcake.
I will definitely order from CPK again. Even without the cedar plank and whipped cream, it was a very well prepared (and packaged) dinner. :--)"
