Its really hit bottom since the 80s when there was 1 el pollo loco on East Chapman in East Orange befire you head over the hill toward Irvine Lake. There shouldn't be a distinction of what item gets what "chicken". A $5 taco shouldn't be a 1/4" thick mush. It should look like it use to. Fresh grilled chicken breast anf thigh cut from the bone. Chicken! 3pieces with a fountain coke, there was corn tortillas and corn on the cob I believe. This order 2 nights ago...A BRC burrito was fine. Kind of hard to mess up. I used to be a fan but I probably will not be ordering here again. And the taquitos are the only affordable item on the menu. The rest is horribly overpriced. A side of plain tortilla chips is $5? Where were the beans or cheese as fillers? It was practically empty with the bulk of it just mostly wrapped up tortilla with sauce poured over it.. It had zero flavor. Was so disappointed, especially for the price of $20 each. You’d think it would be stuffed for that price. I know restaurants are struggling, cutting quality of meats, and serving less, but this was an epic failure. Their burritos used to be good and I didn’t mind paying more for it compared to other places. But this was just an insult as a customer. "
