Also, even when they remember to include my rice and beans, it's thrown on top of everything, super messy. Just like the cheese. And all the missing items. The attention to detail is just not there. I used to be a fan but I probably will not be ordering here again. And the taquitos are the only affordable item on the menu. The rest is horribly overpriced. A side of plain tortilla chips is $5? "My first order was for Rico's Fries, Rico's Shrimp, and Chips & Guacamole! I ate the Shrimp because I have wanted a salad for months now and this looked so good I just had to! It was delicious, excellent and satisfying. The lettuce was covered in black olives, half a fresh avocado, Shrimp Sampi, and a superb white dressing. I was in salad heaven. If that was the intro meal I knew the fries would be just as good. But that's for tomorrow. "They did this right. I wish I could post pictures of they way the taco was packed, the big bag of chips, the salsa, but mostly the pozole. The sides were ample and nicely arranged but the soup itself was great. The broth was nicely seasoned, the pork was tender and ample, and the hominy was abundant. I'll have to try the other hominy colors next time. Well done!"
"I really want to give an amazing rating because I've been frequenting Ricardo's for so many years, but it's just not the same. Sizzling Fajitas Especiales here are just not it. It's an "expensive" plate yet the least quality of food products and overall bland. Also, not allowing to modify a dish that is modifiable in the restaurant sucks! I'm a veggie person, but I do not love onions. In fact, I despise them. Most of the plate is onions. I added pre and post onion removal photos to show just how much. The peppers are never cooked enough, and most of the plate is onions. Sorry to leave a negative review, hopefully they change that. Husband says the California Burrito Special is good."

The food tasted fine, but unlike years past, the California Omelette was much smaller that it used to be.
My suggestion is to go with the $16 French Toast (Six Halves) or pancakes, since $23 for a dinky omelette is rude. Especially when they short you a pancake. "

And this pricing doesn't factor any other fees or tip. I did pay extra for onion rings. Received 5 small onion rings that was nearly all bread and no existent onion. Ranch not included with the onion rings and had to pay extra for it. When we eat BBQ we always have left overs. The portions were so small nothing left. We paid significantly more for our food for fine dinning portion."
