placing my order at BARBA AZUL (Seaside)ordering Campechana La Corobocha { Shrimp 🍤. Octopus 🐙 cocktail 🍹 with Tomato 🍅, Onion 🧅, Cucumber, Cilantro 🌿 and Shrimp Broth. Fourth place I’ve tried the Campechana (Sarita’s Mexican Grill in Monterey, Las Cazuelas in Seaside, and Taqueria Zarape in Seaside) My favorite is Taqueria Zarape, which contains big pieces of Shrimp, and cut up Octopus which you can see with cilantro, onions, tomatoes. I wouldn’t order from the other two restaurants when ordering CAMPECHANA . I tried all 3 places several times and Taqueria Zarape was the best tasting and best value when ordering with Door Dash. In addition to the Campechana La Coribocha I ordered side of rice. Couldn’t order any drinks as they didn’t offer any drinks. Hopefully their Campechana is good compared to Taqueria Zarape?🤔Placed order @3:35 p.m. ETA: 4:06-4:21pm {Marina}, Arrived @ 4:15pm., Dasher: Fernando. My orders arrived, I look through the bag, White 🍚 rice? I assumed it was going to be Spanish Rice and I got a container of white rice 😖😡. The Campechana La Corobocha was very DISAPPOINTING! Not only did he take a picture of the order AT the restaurant, he took 5 or 6 minutes off of the delivery time. So better than punctual, and completely efficient. The clam chowder was creamy and flavorful, you could tell that it was made with real cream and not thickened up with a bunch of starch. My Dungeness Crab Louie was fresh and delicious. They must make the 1000 Island in-house, I've never had better. My husband had the Halibut Tacos which he thoroughly enjoyed. It doesn't come with sides but the three tacos are huge and packed with halibut. I also appreciate the fun selection of mocktails! It's nice to have something fancy to drink with dinner even if you don't enjoy alcohol. All in all we spent under $100 for dinner including tip and delivery. The Veggie Quesadillas was interesting since all the toppings are added inside the quesadilla such as the lettuce, sour cream, guac, and pico. Veggie Quesadillas were not bad but just made differently I guess, normally you'd get the toppings on the side at most places which I prefer as you can control the ratio of what you want on it. They arrived soggy in a cardboard like container; a suggestion I have is plastic packaging so it doesn’t absorb the salsa. They also had a tiny amount of queso fresco; barely had any cheese on it so It was basically soggy tortillas and soft avocado slices that were not fresh. I tried them “divorciados” to get a feel for the red & green salsa; the green salsa taste better in my opinion. The egg tasted fake and lacked salt & pepper seasoning. This was one of those dishes I simply couldn’t finish because it was not satisfying. Luchi’s Chilaquiles have potential for delivery but perhaps a few changes such as plastic packaging and offering a “deconstructed” option where the salsa is packaged on the side and the tortilla chips arrive crispy. I also just realized the features beans did not arrive. I would not order again."
