"The beef bone is as spicy as it sounds, but it's the rare kind of heat that also has that fruity chili note and just keeps you going back for more. Pork intestine has great five spice notes, bamboo shoots are crispy. The tomato braised beef is a good, comforting complement to either of these."
"I really wanted to like this food after so many good reviews but honestly the meal turned my stomach. Fair warning, this is coming from a white American so maybe my palate is just biased. The soup had so many ingredients in it but still lacked flavor; it felt like it desperately needed "something" but I can't put my finger on what that'd be. The cuts of meat had tendons still attached which made it chewy and some parts inedible. That's what turned my stomach. Additionally there were lots of herbs in the soup and I bit one of them and it had this extremely overpowering taste and I couldn't eat anymore. I'm giving stars because the portion size was still good and the food seemed fresh. Everything was well packaged. However I will probably order from a different noodle place next time."
