"I had the "Jerk pork" and I fid like it... I LOVED IT! It was a a perfect portion of peas & rice with coleslaw. The price was on point for the meal provided. I'll definitely order again. I had a great meal, and ill be coming back for more."
"Portions are laughable considering this is not a free or low cost meal - it's priced at a premium. 80% ground provisions and 20% Ackee & Saltfish. 70% rice and 30% Callaloo. There was not enough Callaloo or Ackee & Saltfish to feed a single, human adult to meet your intake needs for one meal - the Ackee is so nominal, it can't possible amount to more than 3 grams of protein. Abysmal."

"The MANGO CHEESECAKE Bingsu/ 망고 치즈 케이크 빙수/ 芒果芝士蛋糕刨冰 was delicious! It was very well packaged in an insulated bag. It's a huge portion and exactly like shown in the pictures. The mango was super fresh and all the flavours went so well together. Highly recommend!"
"
I've been ordering from this place since the opening, and I've loved their bingsu for so long. However, the quality has unfortunately declined over time, and I think this order might be the last.
Ice cream (which is extra) was literally barely a tablespoon, and the bowl version that's meant for 2-3 ppl is now the size of their cup size for 1 person. There used to be cornflakes on the bottom, and now istg I counted ten flakes this time around (and the time before that was not much better). The absolute worst part was the injeolmi, which was ROCK HARD. If you don't have fresh ones, np just let me know and i can change my order or get a sub topping, but to still put them in the order?? Wow. Just wow.
Honestly makes me sad since this place was literally a favourite of mine. I'm hoping the in store portion/quality is better since their photos remain the same, but not sure I'll be stopping by to verify anytime soon. "

"The champong was pretty tasty, not too spicy. The bulgogi jungsik was a good amountand very tasty.
My only concern was the kalbi which was 12.99 consisted of 4 pieces."
"The 43. LA Kalbi Jungsik was great, thick cut with good flavour, and the 13D. Potato wasn't terrible, but everything else was disappointing. The bulgogi in the 58. Bulgogi Jajangmyun was dry, and the sauce lacked depth of flavour, and was a bit sour. However, the worst by far was the kimchi, both on the side and in the 30A. Gamjatang. It smelled and taste off, like it had gone bad or something, we couldn't eat it at all. The soup lacked flavour as well, even after we took the kimchi out, so I'm not sure if choosing the cabbage option would have saved it. The portion sizes were fine, especially for the price, but overall I wouldn't recommend most of these items.. Also, because it wasn't packaged well, the sauce in the Kalbi had completely spilled out an got all over everything in the bag. Not the worst thing, but an additional point of disappointment."

"I started to nyam off my plate and said "Let me catch one quick picture for a review."
I was starting to lose faith in the taste quality in ordering island food. Carib Dish changed my mind and became a favourite for myself and my teens. Oooo-weeee! My Curry Goat Roti was delish. Nice flavour to enjoy. Tasted great and close enough to my mama's. I also added my favourite dish growing up, Saltfish with Vegetables Meal and I was not disappointed. The portions are perfect sizes and it tasted fresh. Made with love for sure. My teens enjoyed this because they were silent. lol Not one peep. Thank you Carib Dish, you will see me order again."
"Really disappointed with this order. The Mac and cheese is bland and unseasoned, tastes like they just put Velveeta on some macaroni noodles. The plantain was very bare and thin slices. "Finally, a good and reliable Caribbean restaurant near me! Chicken Roti is tasty and the Dalpuri is fresh. Portion size is very generous, I always have leftovers. Jerk 3 pc. Chicken has a nice and spicy marinade, but the pieces are small. Chicken Patty was delicious but sweet, I think I was given the veggie patty by mistake. Patty had a nice buttery crust. My only dislike is the pepper sauce, it is more vinegary than other restaurants. Can't waiter to order again! "
"Best caribbean good I have had in a LONG time ! Jerk Chicken was the bomb.com and I did not need to order the Extra Gravy because the rice and peas came with plenty! "Good prices, but I ordered a meal kit and there was no coleslaw. To be honest, I eat a lot of Jamaican food and it was not as tasty as I'm used to, the gravy could be thicker and not so watery. Also ordered the bananas and it was hard. Needed more cooking time. I wouldn't suggest the cook to try and improve those items and I'm sure they can do it. The chicken was well cooked and soft. "Back to back nights of ordering Diners Corner! For a kid from Scarborough, this is close to authentic as any carribean place I've tried downtown Toronto. And they were out of tiger malt but replaced it with the same drink we ordered the night before AND they left a personalized note apologizing!
Great food and great customer service!"
"The jerk chicken was juicy and tasted amazing. 10/10 I got the steamed rice and they packed it nice with good portions. They added 1 festival on the side aswell which complemented the chicken and rice amazingly. Will be back"

"The food was good, but the Ackee & Saltfish portion was not enough."

"Combo: Jerk Chicken and Oxtail & Oxtail Meal were ordered for guests visiting Mom almost a week ago. This is a repeat meal Mom has also enjoyed in the past & will order again. Portion size of meal/s is very good; ingredients are fresh even if ordered early evening :-); whatever meal preference - no issues; & of course, the taste is something enjoyable, true ingredients as noted :-). Guests have now added GX Jerk Express to their favourites LOL! Oh btw, no leakage of gravy etc if wondering. Thanks to Mgmt, Chef/Service Team again. Keep doing what you are doing - service, food on par."
"Once again GC Jerk Express hit it out of the Park for my Mom. I recently "gifted" Mommy a meal from here, ie, Jerk Chicken/Curry Goat combo, steamed Veggies + Curry Chicken Roti. Mom is happy with her meal portion :-)! Rice, chicken, goat well-cooked & fresh - ditto for Chicken roti; on a side note, thank U for ensuring Mom's "steamed veggies" were delivered :-). This shows
Mgmt/Chef Team pay attention to detail & read comments/meal instructions. Pepper (med)
was on-point she said. She is already making plans to order meal/s when I visit soon LOL!! So yes, our Family would/will order again. Thank U Staff / Mgmt!"

"The food is sooooo good here. Large portions and always fresh food. I like how its authentic but still so modern. Oxtail is top tier! "
"Water came with my order which was welcomed, but the Jerk Chicken Plate came so bland without even the slightest taste of any pepper. The portion was disappointing to say the least, but the food was very fresh. I wouldn't spend my money on it again, but might eat it if someone bought it for me."
