"Kalyug is one of my favorite restaurants in Canada. The food always reminds me of home, and honestly, I haven’t found a better taste anywhere else. The quality, flavor, and authenticity are outstanding. For me, Kalyug deserves a full 5-star rating.
I would just like to suggest a couple of small improvements. First, my order did not include disposable cutlery. It would be helpful if cutlery were included with takeout and delivery orders. Even if there is a small extra charge for it, I would not mind paying.
Second, the spicy sauce and the pickled onions (vinegar-marinated onions) were provided in very small quantities. These sides add a lot to the overall meal experience, and it would be great if a little more could be included, especially for regular customers.
Other than these minor suggestions, everything was excellent. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are satisfying, and the taste truly feels like home. I can honestly say that I haven’t had better Indian food anywhere else in Canada. Kalyug has earned my 5-star rating, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, home-style food"
"Overall the value for money was not there. Noodles were good, a quality item. Spring rolls felt like they were cheap frozen, just heated up and served. Green chutney while acceptable was simply too much in terms of quantity.
It seems as though the restaurant has its priorities set on wrong things."

"The isi ewu came in two packs. Quantity was just right and it was delicious! Will definitely order again soon "
"So, I had a craving for jollof rice so I bought the Jollof Rice + Chicken. It was delicious and fairly priced. When ordering, I figured I would get the Goat Meat Pepper Soup as well to try it out. I was skeptical about the price and for good reason. It was a very small portion considering the cost. It was also quite salty for my taste. Overall, it tasted good, but unless there's a bunch a saffron in the dish, I'm unsure how one could justify the price tag. Maybe that was all that remained in the pot? Again, the Jollof Rice + Chicken. was fantastic and I would recommend it."

"The kogo original hotdog with mozarella, the hot dog is not even half size of a regular hotdog.
The lokma bites, the ones i got were very tough. I bought it as my 10yr old son loves pastry but he had a hard time eating it. He barely finished one but I made him finished at least two because I felt I wasted my money and disappointed because he loves pastry but he was not satisfied. I tried mr.puff before and i can notice the quality of lokmas bites as very tough. Hard to munch. "

"Delicious, unique flavours, hearty portions, and friendly staff! Love the concept and their menu and will return."
"So good, everything was enjoyable and it arrived fast too.
The Chicken Dum Biryani (Bone-less) was very fragrant and flavourful, especially served with a delicious salan that was just the right amount, and then the raita with gulab for desert made it complete. My only annoyance was the I called in ahead and asked if the meat would be chicken breast, but it was boneless thigh which some people might prefer, but I would not have ordered it.
The Soldier Chicken is the ultimate appetizer. I went straight for them and they were so good thought the portion is definitely for one person. I also like that if you buy rice with it, you can take the left ove garnish and put it ontop of your main dish.
The Idly Vada Combo along with the side chutneys was a great price and I would have ordered two because I still had a lot of idly left.
I am glad to know this resto exists and will be checking it out again for Indian food. "

"This was a big order for a small bday dinner with the fam and everything was satisfying for the birthday girl..however there are a couple things that need work and that's the flavour of the BB. Peanut-Garlic Beef Stew | Beef Kare Kare I've ordered this before years ago and there's something missing..it tastes very bland and not as authentic as it used to be. And the portion of the BB. Beef Kaldereta was very small. I wished you guys sold it separately other than a bento box or combo. I would order it more often. Other than that everything was tasty but a little overpriced. "I have to say that Blessinglicious has gotten much better this year! They can rival most new nigerian restaurants. The abula was absolutely delicious and reminded me of home. I am an Ibadan girlie, so i know what i am talking about lol. Spicy, perfectly seasoned, rich, umami. It even included rare cuts of meat like foku and round about. The pomo was huge, meaty and succulent. It was a large meal and I ate it all in one sitting. I would have liked more ewedu. Ive ordered other things on their menu before and have to say that they are solid. Blessinglicious - if you see this, how do you make your meat pies so buttery soft?! Its a very hard skill to master. I need a recipe :). 4.5/5"

"Delicious meal, my go to spot for real kitchen originally Nigerian meals"
"I got the catfish barbecue and I had the option to pick a side so I got fries, it tasted really good just like the roadside barbecue in Nigeria. It's the closest thing to home for those of us that miss the streets of Lagos. It was dry on the outside and tender on the inside, it was also very fresh and warm, packaged in a foil and news paper (reminds me of home) and there was an extra peppered sauce and veggies for garnish. I had a full table when I unwrapped it.
For 30$? This is beyond worth it!!!
I would be ordering again."

"Halo Halo has more ice than the other ingredients. The Jackfruit and Coconut strips are like 5 pcs each? I just wish they didn't put some Kaong but pinipig instead. Though it's creamy, it lacks all the other nice authentic halo-halo ingredients I really love - sweetened saba (banana)."

"Keeping in mind that we must judge food that was rolled over by an undetermined person in an undetermined vehicle, as opposed to food that came from a kitchen just a few metres away, Shalom is not the best Ethiopian food in this great city of ours. It IS, however, the best of (or at least among the best) Ethiopian food you can get delivered to your door downtown which will mostly resemble what the chef/cook and staff produced (that I've tried given my options in the downtown core). I had the meat combo and samosas (to add some deep fried action to the mix), and it ended up being a budget meal that lasted me for about three eating sessions. Just brilliant, but be warned that if you don't already like African or Indian or Latin American food then this is just going to make you angry. "
"Maybe it's just not my taste for this dish. It costs $17 for two shrivelled chicken legs and an egg with a small plate of sauce. The indescribable sour and spicy taste crushed my taste buds, and I wore a mask of pain while "enjoying" the whole dish. Trust me, if you can't handle that, the cheapest burger at McDonald's will be more filling than this dish."

"Its my first time trying this restaurant and its the best! I wasn't expecting a huge serving for a value of 7.99!! and the food quality is delicious! i will definitely order and keep coming back :) I also told my parents about this cause they can't miss this hidden gem in Scarborough!"
"I have always ordered goto at Coffee In, and they have never failed to impress me with its delicious taste, which is why I keep coming back. I even highly recommend them to my friends. However, today I was shocked to find that the goto I received is lacked of essential ingredients - no ox tripe, no egg, and only a few small pieces of chicken meat. I am extremely disappointed with the goto I ordered. I question why the ingredients have changed while the price remains the same.
