In fact, the crispy (even crunchy) breading was better than any fried fish I've had lately. A (slightly) spicy, seasoned crispy outside that had a beautiful combination of flavors. Aaa. It was so good y'all. And the shrimp fried rice that came with it was a nice change of pace from typical fast food pairings (I still loved the in crinkle cut fries btw but never had rice with fish; really tasty). This is an easy 5/5. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of tartar sauce. I only got 1 ramekin for 8 pieces of catfish. Ran out sooner than half way through meal. Tartar sauce isn't currently on the DD menu. Peak comfort food. Highly recommend!"

"The Thursday- Baked Fish over Rice & 2 Sides is so good with Mac and yams and I also got the "box to build" of sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice and a pork eggroll. When I tell you it was PIPING HOT AND FRESH. Absolutely delicious. Best meal I have had from Kanes and I have eaten here for years. And always the perfect size to have a little snack left over for later. 10000/10 everytime but today was spectacular!"

"Chicken was a weird texture. No good quality chicken wings. The flavor was good but quality was terrible. Small portion sides for the amount you're paying. It was fresh when arrived. I wouldn't order the chicken wings again but, Mac & cheese was good."
