"Ordered the pad Pad Thai Dinner, steamed vegetables and a Thai iced tea for a beverage. The Pad Thai Dinner imo is kinda mediocre. While it does have the usual taste of what you'd expect, the dish is more on the dry side of what I usually expect, and the sauce has a somewhat jammy like taste that is a bit strange on the tongue. It does still taste alright and has the added bonus of coming in a plastic container that is reusable. The Steamed Vegetables are what you'd expect, an assortment of vegetables steamed. They taste fine though pretty bland due to a lack of seasoning, they also came in a styrofoam container and wrapped in aluminum foil which was off putting. You can probably make use out of them via adding them to an at home stir fry or veggie medley of some sort. The Thai Iced Tea was very delicious. Not only did it have a nice blend of flavors, it wasn't overtly sweet, and was really refreshing. I would highly recommend trying it if you've never ordered one before. "

"Koguu Sushi is part of The Mill Food Co., a cloud kitchen-based food hall that fulfills orders and puts them in lockers for pickup similar to an Amazon pickup locker. You can place your order via the kiosk touchscreen in the lobby, on their website, or through a food delivery service like DoorDash or UberEats. Despite the ordering process being handled digitally in its entirety, signage and clear communication via text made it easy to understand. Important to note that there is no seating here: there's just a front lobby with a bunch of pickup lockers, a bathroom, and a receptionist desk. I ordered the For Salmon LOVER~ 12 Pieces Salmon Sashimi Assortment*, which turned out to include rice to my pleasant surprise. The 12-pieces of salmon were arranged on a bed of white sushi rice, along with included ginger & wasabi. The salmon was fairly high quality (around the same level as Mt. Everest Sushi / Yoshino), but the sushi rice was a bit underseasoned. It also exhibited more acidity than sweetness or saltiness, so the seasoning ratios could be adjusted.** The pricing was fairly high compared to most of the other options at The Mill Food Co. as well as other sushi places that offer similar quality though. All-in-all, I'd be more interested to try some of the other restaurant vendors in this space in the future, returning to maybe try other offerings at Koguu only when there are promotions. ** Source: I've worked in sushi before.
