"The 6 jumbo shrimp and 6 conch fritters were delightful! You can tell the oil they were cooked in was clean. The sauces provided were tangy, creamy, and spicy—great variety. I was very pleased with that portion of the meal. The turkey wings with two regular sides, however, weren’t great. The turkey wasn’t tender. The collard greens had a salty aftertaste, and the portions felt very basic—you literally get a scoop of collards and a scoop of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese lacked creaminess. It seemed more like a macaroni pie, which is fine, but it was clumpy and lacked flavor. This brings me to the lamb chops—dry as the desert. The seasoning was there and the flavor was good, but the meat was extremely dry and overcooked. For the sides, we ordered another mac and cheese along with grilled broccoli. The grilled broccoli was delicious—fresh and perfectly cooked. The seafood rice, not great, hard rice, under seasoned - seafood didn't appear or taste fresh. Overall, I would skip the lamb chops—they’re not worth the price."
