"The gravy has a lot of flavor you can taste the different seasoning and aromas, the veggies were stewed to perfection and the chicken was tender which is always a plus. The cabbage could use a teensy bit of salt but it's to the point where you should add that amount yourself but it would overpower it if added to the large pot. Since heavy salt is not a personal preference of mine. The portion size is really good, and I would order this again just with cocoa bread ! Safe to say I have added this restaurant to my favorites."

Found this gem.... I have to say.... this is the best Jamaican food in the city, I ordered the jerk chicken and the brown stew chicken, and both were seasoned to absolute perfection. Not too much, not too little....every bite had flavor that hit exactly right.
The sides weren’t an afterthought either. The broccoli had the perfect texture.... not hard, not mushy, just right. The cabbage was full of flavor, and the rice held its own too. Everything on the plate was intentional.
And the portions.... They are NOT skimping. Im genuinely full, which doesn’t happen often. As someone who is a tough critic when it comes to food, I don’t say this lightly.... Betta Taste Jerk got it.
I’ll absolutely be back. If you haven’t been, go. Just don’t make it too popular.... I still want to get food without a long wait😄"

I ordered the okra and egusi soups with goat, along with the sides of pounded yam. I ordered way too much food for just me, but i couldnt decide! Overall, I really enjoyed it. My main complaint is that the goat was very dry. Not the end of the world, but it made me wish I had not gotten any protein because the soups were good on their own and ended up picking around the meat. I loved the texture of the pounded yam, its exactly what I hoped it would be. The serving sizes were also good, if you are like me and want to try multiple things, you could definitely share.
If you like spicy I would order it extra spicy, it needed heat (for me). They did give me a little side of a chili sauce though, which I used all of. "

"The food taste is good, BUT the portions are becoming awful. When I first started ordering the Eru, it was almost $27 BUT, the portions were nice to where I could reasonably split it and get two meals out of it. Now, I pay almost $30 (after tax and fees) and the fufu is smaller than the palm of my hand and the Eru barely stretches one serving. That is ridiculous. $25 for a tiny bowl is ridiculous. Now I will say, the food is quite fresh. I appreciate that. The fufu sometimes has super chewy hard pieces where you could tell they cooked it on high and/or didn't stir/pound it enough. Today's fufu was the best I've had from them. It was cooked perfectly. Please fix the portions"
