"Delicious! Ordered the Dual Meal and chose the andhras chicken which was tender and the daal makhani was wonderfully creamy with soft lentils and beans - rice options, breads and sides altogether, an awesome value deal for the amount received. Idly ordered was not available but they called soon after the order was placed and offered a replacement plain dosa which was lovely but wish they had provided a sambal with it. MANGO LASSI was so thick but no complaints!"
"Well, that was delicious. A tad spicier than I'd expected, but then it's only the third dosa I've ever eaten. The samosa was hot and fresh. I think that's the thickest mango lassi I've ever had--no complaints here. And...I don't think I've had a dosa that big before either. And now I know--I LOVE gulab jamun (sp?)"

"So happy to have found this little gem! The Butter Chicken is amazing! Chicken is so tender and full of flavour and the Coconut Rice blend compliments it so well. I also bought the Naan bread and got 2 decent sized meals out everything for under $28 total. Definitely coming back to try more of the great food on offer "
"The Chef at Great Indian wave knows how to temper spices to perfection and make beautiful sauces. Ive eaten lot of Indian food from restaurants across Melbourne and this is probably the best. The Rogan Josh is made with an exceptional spice blend and the meat is always good quality and quantity of pieces. The Eggplant & Potato (Medium Hot)is also a stand out dish, and the Palak Paneer is absolutely delicious. i find the Coconut Rice to be a favorite also. My note here is actually mostly intended as a thank you to, and recognition of a very good Chef who deserves the highest praise."

"Our absolute favourite restaurant for family meals. Ordered the lunch specials because I like goat and others like chicken. First time trying the spinach goat, the flavour was mild and tasty, goat was a little tough but still nice. The chicken masala, I was told was delicious, the added onions and capsicum adding texture and flavour. Saving the chicken briyani for later. "
"So happy we chose Jhol Momo. Absolutely delicious. The chicken momos' spices and accompanying sauce were sublime. Delicious Nepalese goat curry - tender, and liked the peppery curry sauce. Chicken Tikka Masala was consistently enjoyable except the onions were a bit too chewy."

"Best 71. Paneer Butter Masala ive had in 15 years. Not overly sweet and what it should be. What blew me away was that this isthe only restaurant that gave condiments with the order without asking. Thank you for the rice as well. Don't change a thing"
"Butter chicken was great, the lamb Rogan Josh was definitely over cooked and a bit dry however the flavours were there. The kebab thing was bright green ? Idk weirded me out a little. The garlic naan was a bit overpowering. The portion sizes were huge. It came fresh and warm. Probably wouldn't order again tho wich is upsetting as the price was good."

"Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani(Boneless) was flavourful with tender chicken pieces. One of the best briyani I've had!"
"I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani and I have been itching to write a review omg.
Listen, those of us who order from DoorDash know that most restaurants miss the mark. But not these guys oh hell nah.
The biryani was straight FIRE. It was piping hot by the time it was delivered, ultra flavourful, ultra fresh and y’all there was so much MEAT! For the price, I was only expecting a little but literally every bite had boneless meat in it! And there’s a free raita on the side HELLO!! The rice was nice and separated - no stickage whatsoever.
I’m SO impressed it’s unreal. Totally made my night.
This isn’t a paid review btw I didn’t even take photos. I was so starved and that biryani was EXACTLY how I wanted it to be.
The only teeny tiny suggestion I would wanna make is for the restaurant to add spice levels to the biryani or offer a green chilli add on for those of us who like a fire in their tum tum. I can appreciate how they kept the spice at a manageable level for the gen pop 🩷
I read in the reviews that this was a small female-owned business and that really sealed the deal for me. Always love supporting the girlies. Godspeed!!"

"The Aloo Pyaz Paratha (2 Pieces) and Gobhi Pyaz Paratha (2 Pieces)were ok - 7/10, but the raita was more a yoghurt and serving size was tiny for two parathas.
Pickle and onion was fine."
"Extremely oily and bland Fried Rice with Gravy Manchurian (Combo), absolutely no taste or freshness. Veg momo is hard like a rock again extremely oily and bland not worth calling this chilly momo. Samosa Chaat is more of samosa dunked in dahi no taste. I have come here personally several times, but this has been the most low quality food we have eaten. "

"I can highly recommend Lamb Rogan Josh and Paneer Masala (V) . Samosa (VG)(V) were also perfectly cooked and very tasty.
It was the first time we've eaten from here and we will definitely be returning."
"I've tried durbar before and thought it was okay. Garlic naan wasn't bad. Very expensive naan though. The buff Momo's were probably the worst Momo's I've ever had. So while I would potentially order from durbar again, I would never have their Momos and would urge people to go elsewhere if they feel like Momo's."

"When it comes to Authentic SriLankan Rice with Fish and all the add-ons that were included, and in Addition papadum and the fried dried chillies just added the icing on the top as for Value . Most SriLankan Food when it comes to authenticity it lacks the basic foundation and trying to please minority at times but this has to be one of the best I had in a long time within this area when it comes to Authentic SriLankan Rice plus Currie's. 10/10"

"Not the best Tandoori Chicken I've tried. Not as flavourful as other places, and mostly overcooked/dry. But not horrible either, just average. First time trying Palak Paneer, really nice! Great accompaniment to any meat dish you choose."

"String hoppers were fresh and soft. Worth for the price paid. "
"The food was awful; we were so disappointed, considering we left a great review for our previous and first order. Firstly, what on earth was that tiny raw coconut flour thing?? That's not roti and for the price we paid, it was a joke. The egg roti was about the only saving grace. Secondly, there was no biryani. Thirdly they have the creme caramel, so just took it upon themselves to give us something we didn't order. Finally, most of the dish was just rice!! Where's the actual curry and meat? There was literally one small piece of meat for the entire meal! This, by far, has been THE worst order through Doordash by a mile. Nearly $80 later, we are never ordering from here again."
