"Oh this was an unexpected treat! The online menu was messy and over-crowded -- usually a very bad sign. How can one place be good at so many things? Truth be told, almost never. Maybe I just got lucky on the make your own rice bowl -- I don't know. But for whatever reason, it turned out to be a five-star win!
The description was so limp,I'm not sure why I even ordered it. Rice, vague mention of unspecified vegetables, pick a protein. I was not feeling optimistic ( so I picked the cheap protein. ) And then it arrived!
Warm rice pilaf toped with pieces of hot grilled chicken, cold shredded lettuce and carrots, tomatoes, chunks of avocado, cucumber , all piled into an extremely generous bowl. You know how sometimes you get the feeling that people genuinely care about the food they make? I get this feeling here.
Maybe I'm going to have to leave the rest of the menue up to the rest of you. I can't think of a reason to try anything else! This is now at the top of my rotation. I'll be back soon!"
