"At the time of this review, we've ordered from Neelam's twice. Food has been absolutely delicious every time. I don't normally eat Indian food, but Neelam's got me hooked and their food is fresh-tasting and high-quality. Great place!
Their Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special), Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhni), and both the vegetable and meat samosas are awesome!"
"I asked for medium spice and there was no spice at all :( so disappointed. The pieces of Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special) were so big I literally took two bites and gave it to someone else. & my naan was burnt :(((( Wouldn't order again."

"The grapGRAPE LEAVES are pretty standard in flavor, but the sauce that came with them really stepped it up! I always love the RED BEET HUMMUS .The sweet flavor is unexpected but pleasant and when paired with the BREAD , oh yummy! Now, the ASHAK wasut of this world delicious and ismy new absolutefavorite from here. Think of an Asian dumpling with Mediterranean flavors, then the Lentils on top with that amazing sauce just can not be beat!!!!!! The BHOLANI was perfect as well. "Bhaji Pav is a delicious, comforting street food dish from India, where spiced mashed vegetables (bhaji) are served with soft, butter-toasted bread rolls (pav). The bhaji is rich, tangy, and flavorful, bursting with a blend of spices and fresh ingredients like tomatoes, peas, and potatoes. The pav, crispy on the outside and soft inside, perfectly complements the creamy texture of the bhaji. Topped with a squeeze of lemon and finely chopped onions, it’s a satisfying meal that combines vibrant flavors and textures in every bite. A must-try for anyone seeking hearty, flavorful comfort food!"

"Wow. The other reviewers were right - this place cooks amazing Indian food! First time customer and you've made me a loyal one from the start. Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, and Plain Naan were all so flavorful and delicious - what a real treat! Portions are generous. I've been hunting for tasty Indian food in the area for a while and have now found my spot!"
"All the food was amazing!! I love Indian food and have tried many different places, but this one is top notch! The main dishes I ordered were the Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Biryani. They were all so tasty! I also ordered the Vegetable Samosa (2 Pieces) and it was good too! The portions were great for the price. The only thing I would not get again is the Aloo Roti and Garlic Roti as I felt those could use some additional flavor. I will say that I will definitely be ordering from here whenever I'm craving some good Indian food!"

"This was my first time ordering here. Recommended by an Indian neighbor attesting to its authenticity. The Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Sheekh Kabob, Goat Bhunnah and Rice Pudding (dessert) were all delicious. Plenty of rice for a family of 6. I had ordered extra rice (only $3) but not necessary. The traditional Naan and garlic Naan are both delicious and moist, and you can tell they're fresh baked."
" 1. Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is good but the order is almost all sauce, no chicken. And only one serving of rice came with two orders of CTM. Luckily I had some rice and chicken in the fridge. Cut up two breasts and added to the abundant sauce. Hey Red Pepper, how bout adding another thigh or something, it won't ruin your profit on $19 CTM!"

"Biryani was delicious but the chicken 65 has more sauce in it and too much masala"
"Indian Street Style Chicken Fried Rice is not as good as it seems. The choice of vegetables is random, and the chef just picks whatever veggies and onions they can find and throws them in. The spices and sauces used are also haphazard, as if there’s no recipe. It’s not authentic Indian Street Style Chicken Fried Rice; it’s just a messy fried rice dish."

"First of all, their behavior with customers is incredibly charming. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The quality of their food is unbeatable. Their food is so good. It is clean and the price of their food is very low compared to other restaurants. You get a lot of food for a small amount of money.I request those of you who are reading these comments of mine to not just take my word for it, but to place an order and see for yourself, then you will understand how good the quality of the food is.I wish this restaurant a bright future. I believe if they continue this food quality then their restaurant will be profitable one day.I don't know who made my meal, but I want to thank him for giving me such a beautiful meal. Thank you again 💟"

Also the Raita was like water , in fact inedible also...

"Love the food here. Some of the best Indian food I've eaten. Always taste fresh and delicious "
"I’ve ordered from Bombay Blue many times through DoorDash and by phone, and usually the food has been good. This time was probably the worst experience I’ve had with them.
I ordered Palak Paneer, Paneer Bhurji, and Garlic Naan. The Palak Paneer tasted really bad. The spinach had a strange taste, almost like it was starting to go bad. The Paneer Bhurji was also very bland and had almost no flavor.
The only thing we actually enjoyed was the Garlic Naan.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the taste and quality of the food this time. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve ordered from here many times before and expected much better."

"
"This is my only favorite place for biryani.
Freshest most authentic and best tasting dum biryani ever in entire NJ!
I have been to several places in NJ, no other biryani can match its authentic flavor and quality!
But the reason for 4 stars is because type of chicken pieces has changed. I have given the feedback about chicken pieces to the owner once when I was dining in. I have told manager the same thing.
Seems like you are now cutting corners. Please don’t do this. Don’t ruin it for me or any other Bone-in chicken biryani lover. Don’t ruin it for yourself if customer satisfaction matters to you.
Once again, this used to be undoubtedly the best biryani one could get in NJ. But not anymore just because you have changed the type of pieces to mediocre, small, less meat more bony ones. No other biryani could come close to its taste, it’s authenticity and the quality!
It still brings me right to home!
Because of the taste and authenticity.
But please change back or improve the type of chicken pieces to more traditionally premium pieces like, breast, thigh and drumstick.
Instead of the ones you put In now.
It’s like the leftover pieces. The unwanted pieces.
Thank you in Advance!"

"The Lamb Makhani (Butter Lamb) is astounding. The lamb is super tender and every bite is just a flavor bomb in your mouth. I also love that you can personalize the spice level, as I prefer it spicy and most places don't offer the choice when ordering online. Also love that when my food arrived (it was far so took a good chunk of time) it was piping hot! I will definitely order again."
"The Chicken Tikka Masala was awful, it was watered down as if they accidentally poured a lot of water into the dish. The sauce was extremely thin and flavorless, the chicken was dry. I tried my best but it was just pointless to chew on tough and tasteless food, I threw it in the trash sadly. Never in my life did I think I would say Indian food had No flavor, so disappointed in Begum.
The dish did not come with rice, I had to order it separately, which is normally not a problem, but the other two dishes ordered came with rice and the rice portion with those was twice the size of the tiny $7 side of rice!
The second worst dish was the Shrimp Coconut. This dish was also very thin / watered down. We did not have to throw this one away, but better quality was still expected.
I ordered from Begum years ago when a friend lived in Chatham, it was so very good. The sauces I remember were rich and flavorful, the meat was never tough.
After this experience, I can't trust to order from here again :/"

"Great place, Great prices, Great portions. The Daal was so good and actually spicy, they sent sauces with the papadum and allot of places don't do that over door dash. My new favorite indian spot"
"The paneer masala was completely tasteless and had no salt at all. It was very simple and extremely oily. The packaging was also very poor—the container was leaking, and the food spilled all over the bag.
On top of that, the food was not properly cooked. Some of the garlic naan was overcooked, while another piece was completely raw. Overall, the quality was very disappointing. The food was tasteless, poorly prepared, and very expensive for what was provided. Definitely not worth the price."

"This was the first time that I've tried pani puri and it was pretty good! I liked the slight spice in the liquid and the filling was aromatic. You have to put the sauce on it altogether though to complete it. The chicken masala wrap had a buttery paratha (?) and the filling was pretty soft/mushy, but there were bits of onion that helped and the flavor was really good with good spice. This chai is probably the most authentic that I've had (not saying much), sweet, warm, and spiced. "
"Sandwhich was not spicy at all. No flavor but the bread was really good.
Pau bhaji did not look like pau bhaji. It was dark brown/black and it tasted like eggs. I don't eat eggs so this was really disappointing. I will not order from here again as a vegetarian. "

"We tried the Paneer Supreme Pizza*and Spicy Chipotle Burger*. Both were so flavorful. And to top it off, we had the Sitaphal Shake and Chiku Sapota Shake*. Both were amazing. Highly recommend for fusion Indian food. "
"If you’re looking for inventive Indian fusion food, Saci Indian Restaurant is a must-try! We recently ordered from here on DoorDash, and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations. Both the Achari Burger and the Paneer Makhani Pasta were absolutely standout dishes. The burger came packed with bold, tangy flavors, and had that authentic achari (pickle) kick that’s so rare to find in any burger, let alone a fusion one.But the real star for us was the Paneer Makhani Pasta. It’s a brilliant marriage of creamy Italian pasta and the rich, aromatic Indian makhani curry. You get perfectly cooked pasta tossed with fresh paneer cubes and a sauce that bursts with ginger, garlic, tomato, and signature Indian spices—you can taste the coriander, a hint of kasuri methi, and that buttery finish that makes makhani irresistible. My wife and I loved trying to pick apart the flavors and ingredients because every bite was so well-balanced and satisfying.Paneer Makhani PastaSpicy Achari Burger"

"I've ordered the KP Loaded Hot Chicken Fries a couple times now and it never disappoints. So much flavor, a little bit of spice to it and enough to fill me up at least twice. It also came with extra chipotle aioli sauce."
"This has been one of my favorite food spots for over a decade and I thank the lord I can DoorDash it now when I'm sick. I never get tired of the delicious Lamb Gyro Platter. "The dal was AMAZING! Spicy, flavorful and creamy. That dish was the highlight. The Paneer Tikka was very good as well, although I would have liked more vegetables in the dish. The pepper in the Black Pepper Chicken hit my black pepper itch, but lost its crispiness between to-go travel and the sauce. Still a delicious meal. We will certainly order again!"
"Chicken Tikka Masala was perfection. not only was the sauce flavorful, but the chicken was cooked beautifully. there are plenty of places around that make a great sauce, but I have not had any, up until now, that also serve fresh, perfectly cooked chicken."

"Salmon Tikka on lemon basmati rice is spiced perfectly. Cauliflower Marsala is spicy but flavorful.
Glad that I ordered the Roti to go with everthing!
Yes, they are not cheap, you get what you pay for! Delicately prepared delicious food, will eat in restaurant next time with a bottle of wine. "
"Do not order from this restaurant. It is double the price of anywhere else and portions are tiny, for 137 dollars a meal for 3 we ran out of rice for example. And the food is average quality with too much oil "

"They don't give enough food compared to other places but it does taste good. The value is lacking.
However, I do appreciate how consistent they are. The items all taste great. Solid choice if you don't mind paying a bit more for a little less food."
"Mango Lassi was great. But the Chicken Tikka Masala dish did not have enough chicken pieces and was mostly sauce. For $20 it didnt seem worth it. It tasted ok. "
