"I have ordered from Brenda Lee close to 100 times it's consistently amazing, authentic and fresh. The Arroz (Rice) and Frijoles ( Beans) are really good. Beans are black beans and are really tasty. Rice is fluffy. Love the Tres Leches although the contents often leak I wish they would package in a separate bag or with plastic wrap. The Elotes Preparado are good too and I ask for light mayo and they do read the special instructions which I really appreciate. Have gotten all my coworkers obsessed too. Other items I order are el pastor tacos, chilaquiles, beef burrito. This a restaurant where you can pick something you've never tried or heard of and it will be good. Order without hesitation! "

"I absolutely love the taste and definite love that goes into their process of making the Pancita O Menudo ( Tripe Stew)! The flavors are fresh yet meld together beautifully. For me, I get several servings from the portion provided. It comes with a small side of rice, which I always order extra. I order this EVERY time we order from Brenda Lee's because I can't go without it! My only complaint is that usually everything is just 100% perfect, and they have sent my delivery as such to the menu, but I always ask for extra lime wedges, and it does come with condiments, but the last 2 orders my special instructions requesting if I could have extra limes I didn't. I happen to love lime, otherwise it isn't a necessary add on, the stew DOES have that lime flavor hint to it and DOES come with usually 2 pieces of lime as well as onion and cilantro."

"Eggplant Parm was pretty good although a small portion for the price. No bread and that was a surprise; all the nearby Italian restaurants I order from include usually excellent bread. Spaghetti and meatballs, such a simple dish was a non starter. Spaghetti a bit overcooked. Meatballs were dry, no sauce on them at all. The meager tomato sauce was pretty much soaked up by the spaghetti. Meatballs were bland as well. Ample portion of this though. "

"Ordered the eggplant parm, very disappointing and flavorless meal, on par with a frozen tv dinner. Taste more oil than seasoning (if any at all), the layers of are super thin, mushy yet dry at the same time, not a good consistency. The vodka sauce I ordered on the pasta is also lacking flavor. Maybe the positive reviews come from their pizza, please save your money on this dish though. I hope they revisit this recipe. I will say they are generous with their portion, unfortunately it will be wasted. "
