"So I ordered the Whiting fish dinner. I got linguine yams as my side, and my girlfriend got yams and macaroni, as someone who eats soul food at least three times out of the week I can say I am disappointed the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor. It was a little dry the yams to me definitely taste like they came from the can as someone who owns a Soulfood restaurant. You should always be making homemade yams as far as the fish. It was fried nice but it also could've used a little bit more flavor, but they were nice size pieces of fish and the linguine was probably the best thing but I like mine a little bit more wet overall I would rated it a seven out of 10. It's definitely not one of the best things I had."

"The food is absolutely delicious, I ordered most of the sides on the menu, shout out to the person who cooked the pork chops (on the menu it says they are grilled but they are fried) and they were fried to perfection! (Just a bit salty) This restaurant would be a 10 out of 10 if they cooked with less salt and sugar, the greens were too spicy and salty for me but with the right amount they would have been perfect! The menu needs to cater to people on a low sodium /low sugar diet! Also the potato salad is delicious, it's just kind of watery but the taste is great! Everything was fresh! "The Chicken Curry and Chilli Paneer had fantastic flavor. The portions are slightly smaller than I'm used to, however, the cost reflects that. I enjoy spicy food so I often ask for items to be prepared SPICY, which was done welll. The actual Chapati was reminiscent of a tortilla and not so much the Chapati/Roti that I'm more familiar with. The Chicken Curry comes with rice, i don't think the Chilli Paneer does. The rice can use more of the aromatic seasonings common with Indian prepared basmati rice. Overall, the flavors for the main dishes are on point, very well done. This place is definitely worth a try."

"The Chicken Curry is delicious, however, the curry gravy is slightly thinner than you may be more familiar with and the portion slightly smaller, but still a very delicious Chicken Curry . They include the rice (I've had a time or two where the rice had to be ordered seperate), the rice could use more flavor, it was lacking those aromatic flavors that I'm used to, other than that is was cooked nicely. The DUMPLING (MO:MO) , with soup is very similar to Jhol momo, an excellent Nepalese dish, this hit the mark. I asked for both dishes to be prepared Hot, in terms of spice level and they both came in with a respectable amount of spiciness to them."

It does still taste alright and has the added bonus of coming in a plastic container that is reusable. The Steamed Vegetables are what you'd expect, an assortment of vegetables steamed. They taste fine though pretty bland due to a lack of seasoning, they also came in a styrofoam container and wrapped in aluminum foil which was off putting. You can probably make use out of them via adding them to an at home stir fry or veggie medley of some sort. The Thai Iced Tea was very delicious. Not only did it have a nice blend of flavors, it wasn't overtly sweet, and was really refreshing. I would highly recommend trying it if you've never ordered one before. "
