The rice tasted okay but I found that the chicken had a weird aftertaste and just tasted like it was too greasy. The crab Rangoons were not very good either but tasted alright with the duck sauce. The worst was the broccoli that was swimming in an overly spicy sauce. Also, broccoli from other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to has always been softer and tender, but this broccoli was too hard almost like it was not cooked properly. The little flavor it had was overpowered by the sauce. I ended up throwing away almost the entire thing and never finished the chicken. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant at all if you want a nice meal. For the quality of the food it is overpriced. "

"In my Sake Don , there was a lemon slice on top of the sashimi. The acidity cooked the salmon a little and made the fish sour. The slices are very thin so it's especially noticeable. The furikake in the sushi rice made it sweeter than I'd like, and the mix of the seaweed and pickled vegetables made the whole bowl smell somewhat funky. There was a massive amount of raw, shredded carrot underneath the sashimi to give volume to the Sake Don . I didn't eat that. Chinese food, or the American variety is quite possibly my favorite food. Back home in the Midwest, I have tried countless restaurants and found some favorites along the way (one of which I've been going to for over 20 years). NONE of them come even remotely close to this place. The flavor was just unreal and the portion sizes for the price blew me away. I got the A3 combo and D1 general Tso's dinner special and wow, just wow. Every little thing, even down to the soft bits of pork in the fried rice, was so fresh and so packed with flavor. "I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. The Braised Pork and Rice (Khoa Ka Moo) is the best I have tasted in a long, long time. Bone marrow? Check. Perfectly tender pork skin? Check. Meat marinated to perfection? Check! And the rice was perfect. With a dish like this, the rice can make or break it, because you can't really eat the pork without it. It's one of those basic thing that so many places screw up because it's hard to care about repetitive, simple things. Sokitchen cares, you can taste it. I have eaten many braise pork dishes, and this one feels like a fabled old family recipe. It might not be, but as I inhaled this dish, I could not help but imagine some grandmother smiling down on soKitchen from above. This is food at its best, I will be back for more. (Dumplings were serviceable, nothing to write home about. Get them if you are craving some, but not my favorite)"

"The Druken Noodles- spicy and the N2. Basil Pad Thai - Spicy are so good! In my opinion, they could be spicier, but very flavorful. I usually opt for the crispy chicken; they package it separately so it comes extra crispy and it must be an entire chicken breast bec the potion is always huge. Even the individual sauces come in heat-sealed wrapping so don't make a mess. The A16. Scallion Pancake is delicious, especially the black sauce; again they stuff the box to the brim with flaky goodness. The fried calamari is also really fresh, but a comparatively smaller portion. Did I mention the food always comes so fast? Add in the discount and I eat here at least once a week!"

Weirdly, the DoorDash app recommends sides for menu items and rice did not appear as a recommended side. I wish there had been less spice so we could have enjoyed the pineapple and sweet potato more. The pad see eww had good flavor and we would absolutely get it again.
