"On my day off, I was craving a good breakfast in bed. After a doordash search, the Meltdown was advertised. Usually, I check reviews, but the pictures with ooey gooey cheese were so tempting! The sandwich names, mouth watering. I took a chance with the Hittin' Snooze Melt combo, with sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and american cheese on potato bread with a maple spiced spread. Sounds delicious, right? Well, after I placed my order, I found out Dennys has put us in a trick bag. Disguised under a different name. Oh, I felt deceived. It's no way I'm ordering Dennys, ever! "If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled. The lamb is cubed and cooked on skewers (you get 4), and you get a bunch of chicken! These sit on a huge pile of basic fried rice (rice fried with soy sauce) and a scoop of potato salad. "Good - the Malabon was really good this time. It wasn't dry like last time. The portion was more than enough for two people as listed. The lumpiang gulay were good as always. I just wish their vinegar dip tasted like sour vinegar instead of sweet vinegar. They used ripe bananas this time so the turon were good. They just didn't use enough sugar to caramelized the outside. Bad - they didn't deliver my lumpiang shanghai. Ugly - the pork bbq skewers were really burnt and tough. It seemed like they were cooked repeatedly. They were so dry and tough.
