"Everything was really great, dosa was perfecto, the coconut chutney complete india homestyle!!! Chicken 65 was really great, little was crunchy, but still great authentic chicken 65, wish they had heat levels for the chicken 65 though, would have liked a little more heat but understandable that added heat would not appeal to many outside Indians!!! Great Food!!! Loved It!!!!!!"
"We had the Butter Chicken, Cauliflower Lasuni and Spinach curry. Honestly tasted like it came out of a can, lacked flavor. We barely ate half of it. The butter chicken was especially too sweet and the cauliflower was $14 for like 5 small pieces? I never write bad reviews but damn this was pretty bad. Maybe we just got a bad batch. "

"Absolutely delicious Butter Chicken With Rice if you live in the Brooklyn area or are travelling. I highly recommend the mashallah sweets restaurants because they make the most amazing, and perfectly spiced Butter Chicken With Rice. "
"The Butter Chicken with naan bread for 10 dollars I expected it to be in a reasonable 22-24 oz bowl especially when I paid for 3 garlic naan that is extra, the butter chicken in a 8 oz container that is barely filled to the top is not worth the price."

"This was genuinely one of best meals I have ever had. I ordered the butter chicken and got it mild medium spicy which was the perfect spice level and the flavor was amazing. I also got the coconut shrimp which was fantastic, like these flavors are unreal. I also go the garlic naan such a good choice it perfected my meal. I concluded my meal with the rice pudding which was just the best, perfect sweetness level and the mango kulfi, again great flavor, smooth and creamy. I will be ordering from here again."
"This place is so freaking good. You can actually taste how fresh everything is. The veggie flavors are prominent (the peas in the Methi Mattar Paneer just make the whole thing POP with freshness) the meats are tender, the spice is spicy, and the cumin in the rice is so deliciously fragrant. "

"Food was delicious. Portions are large. My dinner came with rice, so I needn't have ordered rice, but the flavored rice really went so well with the Chicken Korma and together it was two huge meals."
"⭐ Disappointed and Concerned About Food Quality
I used to genuinely enjoy this restaurant's goat masala. The meat was tender, flavorful, and had the distinctive aroma I've come to associate with well-prepared goat.
Unfortunately, my last two experiences have been very different.
On both occasions, the meat lacked its familiar aroma and flavor, was noticeably tougher, and contained bones that looked unusual to me.
After the second experience, I contacted the restaurant to inquire about its meat supplier. I was given a name that sounded like Jetro, but I have not independently confirmed the supplier or the origin of the meat.
My biggest concern is whether I'm receiving the same product I've enjoyed and paid for in the past.
I cannot identify the animal from the bones alone, and I don't want to make unsupported accusations. However, the repeated differences in taste, texture, and appearance have left me uncomfortable.
As a longtime customer, I'm disappointed. I trusted this restaurant and"

"Compelling new go-to for Indian cuisine. Excellent recipes across the menu. No neon hues, just enough sweet and tangy, good size and volume of meat in dishes. Portions are not huge (homestyle) but price point is a huge attractor. Objectively the best, most consistent Indian food I've found in Brooklyn. Lassi was a bit short, the mint chutney has a lot of room to improve, but this is the place to stick with . I'm hype. Welcome to the neighborhood ."
"I ordered the samosa chaat, and it was very disappointing. The samosa was burnt and excessively oily, even though I understand it’s a deep-fried dish, this one was far greasier than it should have been. It was also lacking flavor and tasted bland overall. "The Samosa was very yummy and fresh, lovey sauce and crispy shell. Same with the Chicken Tikka Masala, it was very well spiced, lots of chicken, and very smooth. However the Stuffed Naan wasn't the best, the cheese inside was melted at all. Literally just unmelted raw shredded cheese stuffed inside a naan. "

"The butter chicken was fantastic, flavorful, and moist which is impressive for delivery. The size is small but responsible and worth it for the quality; however, to not include rice with a $30 chicken entree is absurd. I almost ordered some (for $9!) but thought "surely at $30 it comes with rice." I suspect higher price points are meant to reflect elevated quality, but the lack of rice feels stingy rather than exclusive."

"I never write reviews, but have to shout out the Veg Samosa (2) here. Most rich and delicious samosas I've ever tried"
"This place was great the first time I ordered. The second time I ordered was almost as if I ordered from a different restaurant. The lamb is extremely chewy and has a strong old goat flavor rather than lamb. I don't know if it was a mix up or if it's just me. The chicken tasted bland and as if it was sitting in the fridge for a week. The portions are extremely small and have a bad dish to rice ratio. I would not order here again."

"The portions of everything are HUGE, 24oz Mango Lassi, salad on the side with the Shahi paneer (cheese butter), generous cups of sauces on the side. The Rice Pudding (Kheer) is so good and they give so much of it. It's thick and sweet and has slivered almonds mixed in. The Shani paneer has so much paneer in it, normally there's so much extra sauce but not with this. The 2 potatoes samosas are huge and they came steaming hot. "I ordered food from the new Indian restaurant in my neighborhood and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I especially liked the chicken curry, the garlic naan, and the mango lassi. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The service was also friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine or wants to try something new and delicious."
"Good size portions but food was mid. Keema Paratha does not look like photo, it looks like a giant empanada and keema was quite dry and flavorless. Chicken Tikka Masala was a bit sweet for my liking, tasted almost like coconut milk was used. Alu Tikiya was fine, happy to see this on the menu since it's not common. Green chutney was watery."

"We love Jalsa! We normally get the Vegetarian Dahi Puri appetizer (make sure they don't forget the mint chutney; they forgot it tonight). Some assembly required on those but 100% delicious. It's better to send it in parts because it preserves the texture.
We also usually get two veg "gravies." (Standard Indian entrees.) You probably can't go wrong."
"This Daal Vegetarian Daal Makhni (Rice Not Included) is my new favorite food. So rich and flavorful! And you will not find a better Vegetarian Saag Paneer (Rice Not Included) than Jalsa. Tons of paneer and super fresh sauce. "

"Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta are me and my bfs go to's. The BEST sauces. Consistently good food. "
"The lunch was well priced and quite substantial and included both basmati rice and a large naan. I ordered the lamb vindaloo (spicy) and the aloo matar gobi (curry of potatoes, fresh cauliflower and peas (medium spice). There was a good amount of lamb and it was prepared spicy as requested but the balance of the other spices and flavors was still there. The vegetarian curry was a good contrast to the spicy lamb and would great on its own with the basmati rice. Lamb vindaloo is one of my favorite dishes and I will be ordering this again very soon. It is a good value for a complete meal with great taste."

"Sooo good!!! Everything was delicious and plentiful! Highly recommend and really happy we ordered from here. As we waited for our order we saw them use fresh real mangos to make the Mango Lassi and the taste was amazing. The Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala was tender and tasteful without being spicy. Both Garlic Naan and Onions Kulcha were soft and delicious. Thank you!"
"Their description is misleading. The chicken tandoori lunch special did not have vegetable curry. And the chicken was a bit dry. However the samosa were delicious!"

"I love Indian food and I'm extremely picky. Prior to this location I would only order Indian food in the city. However this location I've been ordering from them since I started working from home and their food is outstanding!!!!!!!! like their Fried MoMo isss soooo good. Their chicken tiki Chicken Tikka Masala is amazing, the packaging is always great and the food last about two days for one person. I've ordered from them for three years and the quality has never changed."
"THIS FOOD WAS AMAZING! Great quanity GREAT quality Great taste. I ordered an extra rice thinking the meal didn't come with rice but it does! Everything was fresh and taste like it was made from home! RICH in flavor!I was shocked honestly! I will always order from here even tho the price was a little crazy for me it was well worth it! The Mango Lassi drink taste like baby food tho. Nothing exciting so I won't buy that again. However, take my word for it definitely comfort food! Thank me later!"

"Palak Paneer was the star of the show, creamy and well bodied. Could have had more paneer. Cheese Naan was delicious when air fried back to crispiness. Lamb Kormawas delicious but a smidge too sweet. Lamb was tender and easy to bite into. Samosa Vege was a great snack later in the night after I digested my first round of curry. 1. Indian style Chicken Tandoor was well marinated but was a touch dry. Probably would have helped if skin was left on. They did not skimp on the rice."

"Made a large order and it Arrived without the usual itemized reciept. Didn't receive one of the main dishes, Karahi Gosh. Salad was packaged in aluminum foil and 75% red onion. The other entree is oily and flavorless, with only 2 pieces of meat in it that are mostly bones. Garlic naan and Plain Paratha are decent. Custard is great and good portion size. Avoid at all costs."
