"Sometimes, it's the obvious, but simple things that can make or break a place. Besides having fantastic food, my carefully packed order also had napkins, a fork, and a straw for my beverage. While those items may seem obvious, very often they are missing from orders. I can not give enough compliments to this restaurant. The hot food arrived hot and the cold food arrived cold. The Charlie P's Special had very generous portions of 3 ribs, 4 slices of brisket, and a generous portion of pulled pork. The Potato Salad was freshly made, the Collard Greens had a good "zip" in them, and the Baked Beans had a generous portion of smoked turkey with it. Will I be reordering? YES, YES, and YES!!"

"Second time ordering, and DEAR GOD is this place good. The spiciness and smokyness of the ribs can't be beat. Portions on the Charlie P's Special are generous, the Summertime Lemonade slushy thing they have goes perfect with a hot day and these ribs.10/10 They were out of brisket when I ordered(it happens, especially when the food is this good) and talking the guy we it all sorted out, no sweat.
