"I've ordered the Breakfast Plate multiple times and not once have I gotten the rice & beans and tortilla on the side. It's more like ordering a large portion of whatever meat you select and then cilantro and pico (even if you just ask for onions and tomatoes). It's still good, it's just not everything it says it should be. The Large Taco Bowl is as advertised as far as the meat choices, rice & beans, and if you choose cilantro but again if you get onions and tomatoes it'll have the jalapenos in it too. The Breakfast Taco is always good. No issues, no complaints, tastes good and it's relatively cheap."

"This was our first time having Dave's Hot Chicken. I had the Dave's #3: 1 Tender & 1 Slider w/ Fries and it was more than enough food for me. The slider was well made and thought through. the blending of the Kale Slaw, the tender, the hot sauce , Dave's sauce, and pickle on the bun was impeccable. My wife had the 10 pc. Dave's Bites w/ Fries and she was very satisfying with her choice. The Small Chocolate Shake and Small Strawberry Shake were both excellent and didn't degrade much during transit. The Kale Slaw had a great texture and flavor perhaps could have used a pinch of salt. The Side of Dave's Sauce was creamy, mild and a great pairing with the spicy tenders. I saw plenty of reviews with three stars or less with little to no explanation why. So I hope this review helps any who wish to try Dave's Hot Chicken."

"I've been eating here since I was a little kid, and can confirm that everything on the menu is top-tier Tex-Mex. Pepe Taco sets the standard for what Mexican/Southwest fusion should be. The chili is always excellent, salads are always loaded with greens, and things like rice, beans, salsa, etc. are among the most authentic in town. The enchiladas with chili as 'sauce' are legendary. I know this is DoorDash, but if you can visit in person- the outdoor location is nice, indoor seating is rarely crowded, and the staff is amazing. The drive through is also super fast."
